I've been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work + learn from talented  marketing automation and data experts internationally.

My core strength are in the strategic development and implementation end to end customer experiences using CRM, Marketing, Sales and Support automation tools. in addition, I utilise nocode and lowcode tools, integrated into systems to automate operations. 

The management of customer data through systems, is some thing that I passionate about. I attribute this passion to my technical training in healthcare informatics - where I worked to improve the flow of patient health records through systems.

🔵 Used LinkedIn Sales Navigator to enrich the list further, using account signals to find the right people.

💚 Pushed everything into Lemlist to clean, enrich, and prep the data for launch.

✍️ Wrote two short LinkedIn DMs designed to follow a connection request and speak directly to this very specific ICP.

🚀 Launched the campaign across several LinkedIn profiles to connect, engage, and start real conversations.

The result?

I’ve now scheduled calls with people who are genuinely perfect fits.

because it worked for my team profiles too.


But .....here’s the important bit.

Lots of people run automated campaigns like this.

I thought I was good at delegation.

First I delegated to people.

Built teams. Trusted them. Learned to let go.

Big growth moment.

Then I delegated to automation.

Today, was 2026 Budget Planning Day for us

But - it's not enough to have just "a budget"

Here's my thoughts on what you actually need to turn a CFOs financial planning into an executable reality. 

Once you have your Annual Targets you'll need to build KPIs to align all people to your business metrics. 

In terms of Revenue Growth you'll need to decide. 

What % of revenue will come from retained revenue vs expansions vs net new logs. 

The amount of each closed monthly/ quarterly - depending on your deal cycle. 

The amount of new qualified pipelines generated each, month based on a close win rate  

.......remembering that you'll only recognise the revenue 1/2/3/4 + months later, based on your av. time to close. 

Where pipeline is going to come from . 

How much of it sourced by AEs vs BDs vs Marketing vs Partnerships vs Account Managers / CS. 

How many accounts / leads need to be worked to achieve this pipeline. 

Built into monthly and quarterly reporting dashboard on HubSpot / Salesforce - depending on your stack. 

Stewart Moss, Matt Lightfoot and I sat together to build out a model with signals for healthy verse "uh oh!" metrics each month so that we know when we need to raise the alarms to get back on track. 

My only regret was not getting a picture of us working hard in BrewDog Waterloo ....who have awesome 🍕 pizza .....just FYI.
