Lately, I’ve been spending a lot more time outside decks and deliverables.

I’ve been sitting with early-stage SaaS teams, listening to how they talk about their product — and noticing where things get fuzzy.

It’s interesting how often the challenge isn’t effort or intent.

▪️ It’s clarity.
▪️Same product.
▪️Same market.
▪️Different outcomes — purely based on how clearly the story is told.

I’m enjoying this phase of slowing down, asking better questions, and helping teams sharpen what they already have.

Writing this down here to make sense of the patterns I’m seeing — and to share what might be useful to others navigating the same stage.

I have minutes. Here is my 15-Minute Battlecard system:

1. The Intelligence (Perplexity AI) 🤖
Stop Googling. Use this prompt:
"Compare [Our Product] vs [Competitor]. Find 3 features they have that we don't, and 3 reasons why those features actually [add 2+ hours of manual work for the user]" edit as required. 
Pro-tip: Don't forget to get the context about the prospect (previous discovery calls,CRM data) 😉 

2. The Design (Canva or Napkin.ai) ✨
I paste the AI data into a Canva or Napkin.ai to turn it into a 1-page PDF in 60 seconds.

3. The "Landmine" Formula 💣

I give Sales the exact script to drop in a call:
"Ask the prospect: 'How does [Competitor] handle [Complex Task]? Most users find that their [Feature] actually adds 2 hours of manual work. We automated that.'"

The Result?
☑ Tactical.
☑ Fast.
☑ Sales-approved.
