"Sois toi-même."

On nous le répète depuis qu'on est gamin.

Mais quand tu deviens manager, tu te rends vite compte que c'est plus compliqué que ça.

Parce que "toi-même", c'est aussi :
→ Tes colères
→ Tes doutes
→ Tes préférences (oui, ce collaborateur qui t'agace vraiment)
→ Tes journées pourries où tu voudrais juste qu'on te foute la paix

Alors non.

Tu ne peux pas être 100 % toi-même quand tu manages.

Et c'est une excellente nouvelle.

Parce que manager, c'est justement choisir quelle version de toi tu montres.

Pas une version fausse.
Pas un personnage.

Mais une version régulée, consciente, alignée avec ton rôle.

Tu n'es pas censé tout dire, tout montrer, tout partager.

Tu es censé créer un cadre dans lequel tes équipes peuvent grandir.

Et ça, ça demande parfois de mettre tes émotions en sourdine.
De prendre sur toi.
De ne pas balancer ce que tu penses vraiment sur le moment.

Ce n'est pas de la fausseté.

C'est de la maturité émotionnelle.

L'authenticité en management, ce n'est pas la transparence totale.

C'est être vrai dans tes intentions, cohérent dans tes actes, et stable dans ta posture.

Le reste, c'est du narcissisme déguisé en authenticité.
