Agency owners want more profit. Few know what's driving it. I cracked it.

23 years building businesses, a ClickFunnels award for $10M in sales. 
$1M+ earned for clients.

I consulted on marketing and sales for their offers. 
I still do that with a few cool clients.

But something was always on the back of my mind. 
I wanted to build software, but the timing was never right. 
I know that sounds like a poor excuse, but it simply never happened.

Until I met Victor... 

A very successful agency owner who happens to be my neighbour. 
He built an Excel system to track exactly which ads drive profit.

His clients saw huge results. Other agencies saw it and said, 'I'd pay for this.' 
That was my ticket into the SaaS world.

We teamed up and brought in my buddy Vinod. A
 talented developer with code running through his veins. 

Now we're turning that system into software. We call it Sucana.

I used to think burnout was for the weak.


→ 5 am Club.
→ Just push harder.
→ Sleep when you're dead.

Then it hit me like a freight train.

→ 3 AM.
→ Staring at the ceiling.
→ Snapping at my loved ones.

Burnout showed its ugly head.

According to Harvard researchers, 76% of entrepreneurs experience burnout at some point.

I was now part of the statistics.

Imagine this:

→ The slow drain of your energy reserves.
→ The quiet death of your enthusiasm.
→ You VS yourself.

And when you don't stop and take action, you'll lose the battle.

It took months to recover.

My counselors suggested this. 
(Yes, that's how bad it was.)

1. Pick on big goal.
2. Break the goal down into small tasks. 
3. Focus on one task per day.
4. Celebrate when you're done.
5. Repeat. 

The result was. 

→ My sanity back. 
→ Peace in my life.
→And back came the smiles.

The foundation of a 7-figure business was built. 
And the rest is history.

Building Sucana | Saving ad agencies 10+ hours/week | $1M+ in client launches

"I'm losing every Monday to spreadsheets."

Victor said it over coffee in Bali.

He runs a Meta Ads agency. 
He's crushing it.

But every week, he lives in client reporting hell. 
(If you have an agency, you probably know what I'm talking about...)

I watched him explain this, but my mind was somewhere else.

I've wanted to build software my entire life. 
When you let me near a line of code, it breaks.

But like a strike of infinite intelligence from a higher plane of the universe,
my body trembled from excitement. 

I stood up, looked Victor in the eye and said:

"What if we built something?"

Victor laughed....

"You? Software? You're a launch guy."
Fair point... Decades of launches and zero lines of code.

But... 

I know marketing, I know ops.
Victor knows Meta ads better than anyone.
And my buddy Vinod is a brilliant developer.

"What if the three of us teamed up?"

Victor stopped laughing, and his eyes lit up.

That coffee was six months ago.
Today we're building Sucana.

Intelligent analytics for ad agencies...

I'm 50. Finally building software.

I'm sharing every step.

I started building software at 51.
 
My first thought:  
"Nah, I'm too late."

Then life presented a surprise...
I met my new neighbour Victor.
 
He runs an agency and manages millions in ad spend. 

"I'm bouncing between spreadsheets 
 "There has to be a better way," he said.
 
"Let's build a solution," was my response.
Not knowing how we're going to build freaking software.

And that's how it all started...
 
Later that evening, I was staring at the ceiling. 
It was one of these tropical nights in Bali that kept me awake. 

"What held me back from doing this sooner..?
 The answer was fear. 

I learned a valuable lesson that hot night.
Life doesn't care about your plan. It presents opportunities.

It's up to you if you run with them or not.

 So if you read this and you have grey hair like me.
And you're in the autumn of your life, think about this.

A 50-year-old founder is 1.8x more likely to build a successful company than a 30-year-old. Those are the stats. 

So next time, when you doubt yourself, just do it.

What's the thing you've been too scared to start?

This is not what most gurus advise you.

Today, I spent the whole day thinking.

They say:

You have to become a full-stack something.
​
I’ve lost track along the way.
​
But the thing is this…
​
Entrepreneurship can be brutal.
​
And sometimes, you need to take a step back.
​
Your mind and the people around you will be grateful.
​
• Some people pray.
• Some people meditate.
• Some people go on a walk. ​

What’s important is that you always follow your signal. ​ Do what feels good for you,
​
At the end of the day, it’s you who has to walk the path.
​
You’re the only one who can make the journey.
​
There is a mountain of resources about how to find peace of mind.
​
This is what i do.
​
It’s not perfect.
​
But…
​
It works for me.
​
It may work for you.
​
