I’ve always carried a notebook.

Even in the field, covered in dust, surrounded by sensors, half-finished prototypes, and unanswered questions, I wrote things down. Numbers, equations, but most importantly stories: Stories on what worked, what failed, and why people believed in one idea but not another.

That notebook became a habit, and a philosophy.

I started seeing patterns. The best tech didn’t win. The best stories did. The inventions that earned trust from investors, clients, or the public were the ones that made people feel the science, not just understand it.

Today, I work with deep tech founders who are building the future but struggle to fund itThey have the technology, the patents, the research, but not the language that makes people believe in their vision.

Together, we translate their breakthroughs into narratives that attract consistent clients, funding, and long-term believers.

Like Erin who went from zero leads to 95% inbound, $500K in 1 month, and getting recognized by Nike, Ortholite, Ariat, and other global brands as a leader in footwear. "Deep Work" told me to focus for 4 hours. "Piranesi" showed me what happens to someone who does.

This year I read 12 books. 
10 were fiction. 2 were business books.

The fiction taught me more about business than any founder memoir ever has. 

For example:

Cal Newport explains deep focus brilliantly. I took notes. Made schedules. Failed within a week.

Then I read "Piranesi".

A man living alone in an infinite house, cataloging tides and birds for decades. Pure observation.

I felt his focus & isolation. He taught me Mastery isn't achieved by reverse-engineering someone else's success, but by following your own questions.

Now when I work deeply, I think of Piranesi in his halls. Not Cal's productivity tips.

The character made it real. 
The business book made it theory.

Here's what books taught me about building a business:

• Fahrenheit 451: Shallow content kills deep thinking 
• Notes from Underground: Isolation breeds delusion 
• Slaughterhouse-Five: Life only makes sense backwards 
• The Goal: Constraints dictate everything (finally clicked after reading The Wasp Factory)
