➩ Central banks in China, India and Turkey aggressively increased their gold holdings. The goal was simple: reduce dependence on the U.S. dollar.

Why gold? 

It's durable, portable, and politically neutral. No single government controls it. In a period of rising geopolitical tension and ballooning U.S. debt, that matters.

By early 2026, gold prices hit record highs as demand for safe-haven assets intensified.

When central banks collectively move away from U.S. debt and toward gold, it tells you something about confidence.
