🚨 BlackRock Limits Withdrawals from Private Credit Fund

#BlackRock has limited withdrawals from its $26B HPS Corporate Lending Fund after investors requested $1.2B in redemptions.

The fund paid $620M, but once it reached its 5% quarterly redemption limit, the rest of the withdrawals were blocked using a redemption gate.

Private credit funds lend to companies that often cannot access bank financing. The loans are typically long-term and illiquid, which can create pressure if investors want to withdraw capital at the same time. 

👉First Blue Owl, then Blackstone, and now BlackRock.

💡 The key question: Are these early signs of tightening credit conditions in the private credit market?

Over the past year, the #KOSPI delivered an extraordinary rally, climbing more than 130% from its lows and reflecting powerful momentum across Korean equities. The move was driven by liquidity, export strength, and renewed investor optimism.

But sharp rallies often mask structural vulnerabilities...

👉 South Korea remains heavily dependent on #energy imports, particularly #oil. When supply shocks hit and energy prices spike, oil-importing nations are among the first to feel the pressure.

👉 Takšni klici predstavljajo poskus nezakonitega pridobivanja podatkov in so oblika t. i. socialnega inženiringa. Če ste tovrsten klic prejeli in ste podatke že posredovali, svetujemo, da nemudoma kontaktirate svojo poslovno banko, dogodek pa prijavite policiji.

🚨 Is private credit becoming the next stress point in financial markets?

In the past few days several warning signs appeared:
• JPMorgan Chase marked down loan portfolios of private credit groups and issued margin calls.
 • Morgan Stanley capped redemptions in one of its private credit funds.
 • Deutsche Bank shares are down more than 20% this year amid concerns about exposure.

As Mohamed El-Erian warns, the risk is the classic contagion dynamic:
“If you can’t sell what you want, you sell what you can.”

This doesn’t mean a crisis is here. But private credit has grown to more than $1.7 trillion globally, and limited liquidity could turn local stress into a broader market issue.

European natural gas prices surged +30% after Iran reportedly struck Qatar’s largest LNG facility that is responsible for ~20% of global LNG supply.

💡 This is not just another geopolitical headline. This is a system-level energy risk.

Why this matters:
• #LNG represents only ~15% of the global gas market
• But it is extremely tight, global, and infrastructure-dependent
• Unlike oil, LNG cannot be easily rerouted or replaced overnight

Oil shocks vs LNG shocks — a critical difference:

- #Oil markets are flexible, but #LNG markets are fragile:
✅ Limited liquefaction & regasification capacity
✅ Long-term contracts dominate supply
✅ Infrastructure bottlenecks slow response

Bad signs:
