At PNY, I lead an 8 person Business Development Unit with the mission of generating demand for PNY and NVIDIA GPU solutions. Additionally, I've lead teams ranging from HR, security, and sales while supporting legal and business strategy. My role supports multiple departments across shared services and sales driving new and existing business opportunities, hiring and developing talent, curating company wide training, and traveling the globe. My journey at PNY started as a Financial Analyst Intern. Today, my role supports the legal department, leads security, hosts 6 direct reports, manages 100+ accounts across the east coast, west coast, and all of Canada.

Last night, I went around a room of 20 seasoned attorneys at Rutgers Law School  and asked them to name one thing they were grateful for.


Not a question you usually hear in a CLE.
But it was the moment everything shifted.

I’ve made mistakes in past presentations, and I walked in determined to be better…

More present.
More useful.

Before our break, I paused the lesson and asked everyone to go around and share one thing they appreciated in their life right now.

Afterward, one attorney came up to me and said the exercise was powerful because it made him think, which shifted his energy.

The idea isn’t novel. It’s the practice of saying it out loud.

That’s why I keep showing up, even on the long days.

To serve.

To help people slow down enough to see what’s already supporting them.

Grateful for the time, energy, questions from the audience…and the fact I’ve trained over 2,173 attorneys this year on things I geek out on. 

What a wild 2025.

A few weeks ago on a flight home, my daughter gave me a reality check:

“Don’t look at your phone, Daddy.”

The pilot warned us about turbulence. My head knew we were fine, but the plane started shaking and my daughter started giggling, bobbing side to side saying:

“Daddy, look!”

We’d spent the flight eating home-cooked food, toasting each bite, and singing. But the second I checked my phone, even just to coordinate the ride home, I wasn’t present. I didn’t have the discipline to resist the impulse.

Kids don’t want perfection.
They want attention.

And while we can rationalize why we check our phone, send the email, or “just look for a second”...

We miss the moments that won’t come back.

A plane shaking in the sky didn’t bother her.
All she wanted was to be next to me.

How many more times will that be true?

Even with everything I teach about perspective, presence, and control, theory means nothing without practice.

That split-second decision, look at my phone or look at my child, shapes how she sees her worth.

I’ve been off Instagram for 6+ months and it’s helped. I’m thinking of clearing even more bandwidth. 

Not sure what that looks like yet, but I know there’s room to be better.

There’s no perfect takeaway here.

Just a reminder:
Presence is a muscle.
Time slows down when we pay attention.

More work to do.

Most people fall into one of two traps after Thanksgiving:


1️⃣ Overcorrecting: “I need to work extra to make up for it.”
2️⃣ Underperforming: “I’ll get back on track on Monday.”

Neither works.

Instead of self sabotaging, try this: 

Return to one anchored behavior.

The gym.
A long walk.
Your morning routine.

Your standards reveal you who genuinely are on a daily basis, not just the day after a holiday.

Even when you fall off track, identity pulls you right back to center.
