Additionally, I've lead teams ranging from HR, security, and sales while supporting legal and business strategy. My role supports multiple departments across shared services and sales driving new and existing business opportunities, hiring and developing talent, curating company wide training, and traveling the globe. My journey at PNY started as a Financial Analyst Intern. Today, my role supports the legal department, leads security, hosts 6 direct reports, manages 100+ accounts across the east coast, west coast, and all of Canada.

In the 1960s, TIME and The New York Times predicted that by the year 2000, machines would make us independently wealthy, working 4-day weeks with 218 days off a year.

They were right about the technology.
They were wrong about the systems around it.

Instead of fewer hours, we raised expectations.
Instead of abundance for all, we concentrated productivity gains.
Instead of a leisure crisis, we got a burnout crisis.

Now AI puts us at that crossroads again.

In this era will we use technology to free people? 
Or repeat the same playbook with even more powerful tools?

Red McCombs didn’t come from money.
Didn’t have connections.
Wasn’t born into some legacy business.
He started as a car salesman in a tiny Texas town.

But here’s where most people underestimate him:
He didn’t just try to be the best salesman.
He aimed bigger.
He bought the dealership.
Then another.
Then another.

By the time people noticed, he’d built one of the biggest auto groups in the country.

But the real upside came from what he did next:
