Within my role at Whiteoaks, I was:
• Responsible for the day-to-day running of clients’ social and digital programmes
• Running regular paid campaigns on both LinkedIn campaign manager and Twitter ads
• Creating regular social and digital reports using established templates to showcase results

I got my first iPhone and started creating YouTube videos from my bedroom.

Fast forward 14 years, and my passion for social media is bigger than ever.

I’m 25, I run my own business, work a 9-5, and I still get the occasional “oh wow, you’re so young” comment.

As if youth and capability can’t coexist.

But being in your 20s isn’t a disadvantage.

It’s an advantage.

We’ve grown up in the digital world, not around it.

We understand how people communicate, what feels real online, and how fast things change, because we live it daily.

That doesn’t make us “lucky.”

It makes us built for now.

You don’t need to dress older, speak older, or act older to be credible.

You just need to know your stuff, and back yourself.

The industry doesn’t need more people who’ve been doing it the same way for 20 years.

It needs people who get it right now.

I've officially quit my job, with nothing lined up. 

And it isn't my first rodeo. This is the second time in my career.  

For a little bit of back story, my boyfriend and I flipped a coin to decide whether to buy a house… or see the world again. 

Based on the start of this post, I'm sure you can guess what came out on top. 

I won’t pretend it isn’t scary.

Last time I went backpacking, I had my job waiting for me.

This time, I’m stepping into the unknown, no plan, no job, no safety net.

But the last year has been intense and as they say, there's no time like the present.

I’ve been managing influencer campaigns, talent management, social growth and building my own business. 

It’s been full on, rewarding, intense... All the emotions. So now feels like the right moment to take a step back and make the most out of life. 

I’ll be open to new opportunities in 2026, so if you’d like to connect or chat about the future, I’d love to hear from you.
