A good onboarding experience sets the tone for everything that follows. It’s not just about learning systems or policies; it’s about feeling connected, valued, and inspired from day one.

Last week, I had my induction at GMG and I must admit that it was the best onboarding experience I’ve ever had in my career! 🙌

A big thank you to Ajit for creating such a thoughtful and engaging experience. I especially loved the treasure hunt across some of our stores in the mall, what a fun and creative way to learn about the business and the brands we represent! 🏆

Moments like these remind me how important it is to invest in meaningful onboarding programs because when new employees feel truly welcomed and included, they’re motivated to contribute their best from day one.

As a recruiter, I review countless profiles every week and I can’t tell you how many great candidates miss out on opportunities simply because their LinkedIn profiles are incomplete or outdated.

Sometimes it’s not about skills or experience, it’s about presentation.

Here are a few common mistakes I often come across:
🔹 Missing or incomplete job information: no dates, job descriptions, or company details
🔹 Outdated profile photos or none at all
