WHY?

Because when I was a kid, I didn't have the confidence to communicate.

Be that down to environment, culture or not being able to find the write words.
I struggled to express myself. 


And I grew up in a world where I was split between two identities. 

The very Indian household - food, language, music and films. 🇮🇳
The very British world outside - food, language, music and films. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿


It was only natural for me to be gravitated towards the arts. 
Where I wanted to find my voice, my place in the world. 

With others. 🫵🏼


Motivated to break cultural glass ceilings and bring more authentic stories to the people.


I took to acting like a pigeon leaves a busy road. 
And what a journey. 🎬


But wait. 🛑 
There was more. 
I wanted to hone in on my storytelling chops.  🌻

Finding voiceover was like finding that last crisp in the packet, when you thought it was empty.
Finding voiceover was like finding the last parking spot (anywhere) on a Saturday afternoon. 
Finding voiceover was like realising that you could in fact delete paperclip from Windows. 


And now I spend every day offering my human voice to creative content, collaborating with ambitious and fun agencies, directors, producers, studios and production companies around the world.


Using my voice was that bridge that helped bring my two worlds together. 🤲🏼

And I do this for my clients too. 
By giving their story a voice. 
So they can connect with their audiences, their people. 🌻

Why I Don’t Do Black Friday / Cyber Monday Deals. 🩷 



Every year, businesses slash their prices for a weekend of chaos.

But I’ve chosen not to participate. 
Not because I’m against a good bargain, but because of what I want my work, my time, and my business to stand for.


Here are the a few good reasons.... 


My value doesn’t change based on the date. ✨ 

The work I do comes from years of experience, learning, and showing up for clients in ways that matter. 

That value doesn’t suddenly drop because it’s late November.

I want people to work with me because they see the impact of what I do, not because there’s a countdown timer on a discount.


Fair pricing all year just feels better. ✨ 

A lot of companies raise their prices only to cut them during sales, which makes people wait for deals rather than trust the actual value.

I’d rather keep things simple and transparent: the price is the price. 
No gimmicks, no pressure, no “Buy now before it’s gone!” energy.

Just consistent value whenever you’re ready.


Big companies profit from massive sales. Small businesses don’t. ✨ 

Black Friday works great for corporations with huge margins and endless stock. 

They can afford to slash prices because they make it up in volume.

For small businesses, discounting often means undervaluing the time, creativity, and care that goes into the work. For everyone. 

It’s just not sustainable. And personally for me, it doesn’t reflect the real worth of the service.



So instead of offering deals once a year, I focus on delivering value all year.

If you choose to work with me, I want it to be because it feels right. 
Not because a sale sign flashed at the perfect moment. 🩷

A gentle truth 🙏🏽


Many “creative problems” aren’t creative problems at all… they’re communication gaps.

We’ve all been there.

💫  a brief that felt unclear
💫  a project that drifted
 💫  a collaboration that suddenly got complicated.


And often, it’s not because the idea wasn’t good.
It’s because the communication underneath it wasn’t strong enough.

In creative work, clarity, honesty, and openness aren’t just nice-to-haves.
They’re the foundation that keeps the whole process flowing.

When we communicate well, we create well.

It’s amazing how many challenges melt away with a little more alignment and a little more humanity.

I really do believe that creative work thrives when communication does.
And a project I had last week really taught me that. 

In the chaos we doubled down on "open conversation" rather than getting tangled in the weeds. 🧡

Every time I haven’t, it’s cost me.. be that in misunderstandings, delays, or avoidable frustration.

Simple, honest conversations prevent complexity later.

I’ve been building my business for 13 years… and if I’m honest, I’ve probably poured something like 11,437 hours into it.


(Yes, an oddly specific number… but it feels about right!) 


Here’s what those hours have looked like:

💛  Training: Honing my craft over and over again, even on the days it felt like I should already “know it by now.”

💛  Branding… re-branding… and re-branding again: Because finding your identity is rarely a straight line.

💛 Marketing efforts: From simple “just post something” days to big, bold, Ryan-Serhant-level ideas that scared me a little.

💛 Meetings & collaborations: Partnering with emerging studios and production houses that pushed me to level up.

💛 Auditions: The nerve-wracking, hope filled kind that teach you as much as they test you.

💛 Career pivots & pauses: Stepping back into production or consulting when I needed a reset or a fresh perspective.

💛 Speaking at conferences: Sharing what I’ve learned and realising how much I still have to learn.

💛 Learning the technical side: From building a studio to running sessions to editing until the software finally made sense.

💛 Reading & researching: Staying curious about an industry that’s constantly evolving.

💛 And of course… the actual jobs: The part where everything comes together and reminds me why I love this work.

Thirteen years. 11,437 hours. Countless lessons.

Recently went on holiday… and somehow I only took five photos.


Yes. Five.  

Meanwhile, some people come home with enough photos to make a documentary. 😂 

Here they are. A spread of sheer randomness. 

I guess that’s my motto in life sometimes... be in the moment, not the mobile. 

Sure, it means fewer photos… but it also means more laughter, more memories, and far fewer “wait, take it again!” moments.

Honestly? 
Worth it. 🩷

Say what now, Bhav?

There’s something oddly comforting about that stage where you know you’re not great at something yet. 

✨ You can see the gaps. 
✨ You feel the friction. 
✨ You’re self-aware enough to think, “Yep… this could definitely be better.”

It’s uncomfortable. But refreshingly honest.

That awareness for me is where learning actually begins. 

Not when you convince yourself you’ve mastered it, but when you’re willing to sit with the awkwardness, ask the “probably obvious” questions, and keep showing up anyway.

Progress doesn’t come from pretending to be competent.
It comes from staying curious (and a little stubborn) long enough to become it.

Here’s to pushing through the resistance. 
One imperfect rep, facepalm, and small win at a time. 💛

Talent vs. Personality. Which matters more when you hire? 🤓🤓



I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

Because in creative industries (and honestly… most industries), we celebrate talent. And rightly so. 

Skill. Mastery. The “wow” factor.

But here’s the truth I’ve learned in my own work, especially when collaborating across teams, directors, producers, and brands:

✨ Talent can only take you so far if you’re not good to work with.

If someone is brilliant but impossible, inflexible, or constantly in ego mode… things can go down hill pretty quickly. 

I’d take someone grounded, respectful, and genuinely themselves over a “genius” with chaos energy any day.

Because skill can be refined.
Technique can be taught.

But kindness?
Humility?
Adaptability?
The ability to listen?

Those are harder to train. 
And far more valuable in the long run.

That said, I also get the other side...

Some people believe talent is the personality.
That a strong creative vision requires a big presence.

Or that excellence naturally comes with quirks, edges, and intensity. 
And as long as the outcome is exceptional, the journey doesn’t matter as much.

I don’t fully agree… but I understand why some do.

Here's where I'm sitting. 🥸 

The best collaborations happen when skill and character meet in the middle.

But if I have to choose?
It would have to be more about the person.

Companies are A/B testing using a human voice and AI voice. 


The former is getting better click through. 🙊 

WHY?

➡️  Perceived authenticity and trust. 

Humans are highly attuned to real voices and subconsciously assess sincerity, confidence, and intent. Even high-quality AI voices can trigger a “this feels synthetic” reaction, reducing trust.

It's all about trust.

➡️  Emotional nuance and intent signalling.

Human speakers naturally vary pacing, emphasis, micro-pauses, and tone to convey meaning and emotion. These subtle cues help listeners quickly grasp why they should care or act.

➡️ A two sided conversation. 

Human voices trigger a connection, a bond.
There is something more around the edges for the listener to explore and engage with. And humans find value in that.
