Brand that I started in college. Sat on the brand for a while, but recently took action. Project Growth is about achieving growth in your personal and professional life. Project Growth consists of a podcast and Instagram page that I grew to 25k followers in 4-months.

Collaborated with brands such as RepVue, Revel, Motion, Magical, and more.

All because of a matcha... No joke. Here's the story.  

I was at Cannes Lions over the summer and was at a random pizza spot.

We starting chatting up with the table next to us and turns out, one of the guys just opened a coffee shop in Cannes.

He insisted we come by tomorrow to try the "best matcha in Cannes".

And I'm always looking to support other entrepreneurs.

So the next day, I stopped by for a matcha (and it was indeed super good).

At the coffee shop, I randomly bumped into the Managing Director of the 1BFS.

He mentioned he had some challenges sourcing Tech creators based in the U.S. to attend and speak.

Luckily, I know just the agency to help *cough* Creatorbuzz *cough* 😉 

So we swapped info and scheduled a follow up meeting with his team.

This brief encounter in Cannes lead to Creatorbuzz helping source some tech creators to attend/speak.

And I'm even hosting one of the sessions on B2B Influencer Marketing.

On top of that, it will be my first time in Dubai!

All because of a matcha 🍵

Crazy how the world works when you just put yourself out there.

Building a B2B Influencer Marketing agency in public.

My agency lost $20,000 after a former client went out of business.

True story (unfortunately).

We brought on a client, who on paper, was unqualified.

But, early on in Creatorbuzz journey, I was too focused in on growth.

The client had poor communication and multiple delayed kick-off dates.

The red flags were EVERYWHERE 🚩 

But, I mistakenly ignored them.

1.5 months into the campaign, I received an email from the client that they were going out of business.

We were now stuck with $20k in influencer invoices that needed to be paid.

And since we're the agency who contracted them, that means it was our responsibility to pay them.

I didn't know what to do.

But as a creator myself, I know how important getting paid for your work is.

So, we paid the creators in full.

$20k later I learned this lesson.

Not all revenue is good revenue.

The small unqualified clients, they creator 80% of the problems with 20% of the revenue (or less lol)

This is some of the harsh realities of being an entrepreneur. 

And our most expensive lesson yet.

I started off my sales journey in college, selling Home Internet & TV packages door-to-door. I can confidently say, no other job prepares you for the reality of sales like getting countless doors slammed in your face mid-pitch.

Now, at Demandbase, I am a former SDR turned AE who's obsessed with creative prospecting and passionate about personal development.

During my day-to-day, I help B2B marketers and salespeople achieve their Account-Based Experience (ABX) goals. On LinkedIn, I make content to help salespeople prospect more efficiently. 

Outside of work you can find me in the gym playing pick-up basketball with friends, holding onto my childhood dream of playing in the NBA (which I'm starting to realize is probably long gone). 

Aside from trying to make the pro's, I'm either on a run, learning how to cook, binging my favorite mob movies, or creating tons and tons of content!

Here's all the cool sh*t I saw in B2B Marketing last week 👇 

1️⃣ Yahoo x Graza collab

Yahoo teamed up with Graza, the cult-favorite olive oil to launch “Sssshhhhizzle” Keyboard Oil. An oil for loud typers. 

They sent this gift box to a handful of creators that include the oil, a hat that says “clicky clacker”, and a cooking tray. And on top of that, they’re actually selling it on their website for $25k. 

Speaking of launching products strictly for Marketing purposes….

2️⃣ Default's Wholesale site

Default launched a Costco inspired wholesale website where you can buy “RevOps essentials” like a case of Missed Leads Water, a pallet of Manual CSV uploads, or a crate of duplicate leads. They also sent these Costco-inspired membership cards and mini shopping carts to creators, partners, and customers that were shared on social.

3️⃣ Zapier's Brand Trip

Zapier just flew 20 influencers out to Utah for their Zapier Outpost. Zapier had their own campgrounds and each creator had their own air stream. A weekend filled with s’mores, hikes, and automation workflows.

B2B brands have slowly started to incorporate brand trips into their mix so I’d imagine this being a bigger play in 2026.

I spent the first 6 months talking "at" people on LinkedIn.

Low engagement. Low connections. Low reach.

Then I switched to sharing what actually happened to me.

Most creators post like professors: "You should do this. Here's how to optimize that."

But nobody wants another LinkedIn guru telling them what to do.

They want to hear real stories from real people figuring sh*t out.

When I started Creatorbuzz, I bombed my first 10 client pitches.

Instead of posting "5 Tips for Perfect Pitches" (which would've been BS anyway), I wrote about how I completely blanked when a CMO asked about our pricing model.

That post got 3x more engagement than anything I'd posted before.

Because people saw themselves in my mess-up.

Here's what actually works:

Share the awkward client call where you forgot to unmute.
Talk about the campaign that flopped and what you learned.
Admit when you don't know something instead of pretending you do.

My best performing posts aren't advice threads.

They're stories about losing $20k (story coming soon), decorating our tiny office, or how a random matcha in Cannes led to speaking in Dubai.

Tijs Nieuwboer vibe coded an entire app only using voice-to-text while running the Amsterdam Marathon. Perfect example of turning software into a viral moment in real life. Well done Tanay Kothari 👏 

2️⃣ Clay World Records

Encouraging creators to build Clay tables in one-of-a-kind ways. Like on top of a mountain, under water, upside down, or even on a jetski… And they created this landing page encouraging others to submit their world record. Always crushing it Obaid Durrani 💪 

3️⃣ Air x The Rizzler (pt 2)

Air partnered with the Rizzler yet again to create this cinematic AI-generated video of the Rizzler in iconic movie scenes to promote their new Creator Plan and it’s got +500M organic views on Instagram right now. Ariel Rubin always pushing boundaries 🤔 

4️⃣ Ding Zheng's Creatorbuzz rap

Ding made an entire rap song and music video for B2B Influencer Marketing agency, Creatorbuzz. Never heard of them. Song is kind of fire though 🔥
