Good morning, ChiTown! I'm back this weekend and enjoying time with colleagues, family, and friends. I’ve got my pralines from Buccees and the best egg rolls from Rising Sun.

This past Monday marked my 28-year anniversary, and I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has been part of my journey in DFW over the last 30 years, including those who joined me at AT&T. It’s a weekend of celebration, with employee appreciation and a nod to 150 years of history behind the bell.

Reflecting on my 28 years, I recognize the ups and downs, but I’ve persevered. As great leaders in my network close chapters, I feel the torch being passed to me and others to lead with impact and finish strong in 2026. 

It’s crucial to understand leadership and how the telecom industry is evolving as we look toward 2026 and beyond. Let’s take a moment to appreciate the last 150 years and consider where we stand today.
