The idea of a strong and independent woman is such a scam.

Because once you fall for it, there is no coming back.

You start convincing yourself into believing that you can achieve everything.

A few months back, I learned how to ride a scooty.
And I won’t lie, I wasn’t perfect on the first day.

I’m still not.

I lost count of how many times I fell on main roads or bumped into vehicles.

I still remember the first time I crashed into a Havel and got my mudguard injured.

Yes, I’ll say injured.🥲

Got it fixed today, but the scratches are still there, telling the story of how many times we hit the ground together.

But somewhere in those falls, something changed.

→ I learned how to pick myself and the scooty up from the road without waiting for anyone.
→ I learned how to stand, even when it hurts.
→ I learned how to keep going, even when I was scared.

And that’s where the “scam” begins.

Because falling so many times teaches you strange things:

That strength becomes a default setting, silence becomes your shield and independence becomes the only language you trust.

Not because help isn’t available, but because you stopped expecting it.

And once independence becomes your comfort zone, it becomes almost impossible to unlearn.
