I am a 24 year old trying to change Personal Care Experience for “misfits” like me.

Who? 
Misfits are extraordinary people who the vast personal care and cosmetic industry don’t cater to well. These people have skin conditions and sensitives.  

Why? 
We misfits cannot use typical commercial product offerings in the current market cause they contain a long list of ingredients and allergens that could worsen our skin conditions. So, just because we have special requirements doesn’t mean we don’t want to indulge in personal care and beauty . 

How ? 
We aim to make a full range of products that even the "misfits" can use comfortably without worrying about worsening their skin conditions. Our products help soothe and treat those skin conditions and cater to their other skincare requirements. They come free from 40+ allergy-causing ingredients and range from skin,body, hair and makeup. 

Me? 
I am one such misfit who struggled with sensitive skin , who used to go researching about ingredients,  formulas, and products just to understand what I could use safely on my skin without causing a flare up every time I use a product. That’s how Dóveriye stared - a brand by the misfits for the misfits around the world.

Meeting the Reginald Men team took me back to our early Mamaearth days: that same fire with that same clarity of purpose. One difficult investor doesn’t mean the next one won’t be game-changing.

As founders, we face rejection almost daily. It’s part of the journey. But too often, we let a single bad experience shape how we respond to new opportunities. We hesitate and pull back.

Here's few ways in which you can overcome the fear of rejections - 

📍Do not personalize the rejection 

Rejection in fundraising or other things is rarely about you but mostly about timings, market situation and various other risks combined. Once you separate yourself from these outcomes you can easily iterate without emotional burnout.

📍Take a signal from rejections 

Not all feedbacks are useful but take one insight, implement it and move on. Ask these questions - 
● Were your brand narratives unclear?
●Were your timings a bit different?
● Did you pitch to the right investor ?

📍Build a rejection routine 

Have a simple process to get accustomed to such setbacks 
●Have a meeting with your team
●Identify the lag points and work towards improving them
●Re-engage with other prospects 
●Start working towards the next step as soon as possible 

Every opportunity you walk away from out of fear or frustration is a potential step forward that you’re blocking with your own hands. One rejection doesn’t define the next outcome.

Underneath perfectionism lies the fear that we’re not good enough. It’s a story we all tell ourselves sometimes. The first step of getting out of the perfectionist mindset is to replace this story with a new one. 

📍Reframe the question - 

Whenever we catch ourselves worrying about what others may think, it’s time to get back to why we’re doing what we’re doing in the first place ; "What am I trying to achieve?" These questions draw out our intentions thus refocusing on our goals.

📍Understanding nothing/Noone is perfect -

Perfection can’t be a thing when the business landscape changes daily, especially now in this AI era. The best we can do is day-to-day management, which requires being agile and flexible—two things perfectionism absolutely destroys.


There's so many things that we learn each day while running a business and if we are dragged back by perfectionism then we can never actually strive towards our goals.

And because we don't know what we don't know, perfection remains perpetually out of reach.

What's the buzz around "72 hours of work" / the 9-9-6 work schedule ?

I have read a lot of articles, posts and tweets regarding this topic & what I feel is that it's completely up to "YOU" for how many hours you want to work. 

As an entrepreneur, if you have a goal and anyways want to achieve it, you of course will have to work for it. It will not be given to you on a table, all served hot.

Now for that it doesn't matter whether you need to work for 70 hours, 90 hours or 100 hours or 10 hours.

It all depends on you. Nobody can make you do anything against your own will until and unless you're working in the corporate sector. 

📍In a corporate structure, a fresher/ graduate should dedicate more hours to work generally because it's the most ideal time for any fresher to learn. 
📍This is the time with least responsibilities leading to maximum time available for learning. 
📍With dedication, discipline & an urge to grow in life, burning the midnight oil in early career can be a boon.


A 70 hour benchmark is merely a standard that if you keep in your mind, is only going to lead you into a more confident future.

So, it’s all about your perspective as to how you want to achieve your dreams and goals.

If your dream requires you to work even beyond a certain number of hours, you would definitely do it. Remember your dreams and goals are only yours to be fulfilled.

I've had a talk with my mentors and we'll wishers and they suggested me to do a few things which I'll share with y'll.

How to challenge obnoxious thoughts as an entrepreneur ?

📍Write down all the anxious thoughts 

Writing out your thoughts and emotions is a great tool to help process stress and anxiety. Thoughts such as "what if" , "I'm worried that" , "I'm afraid to", "what's people gonna think " etc.

📍Building awareness symptoms 

Having awareness whenever you're experiencing excessive worrying or anxious thoughts allows you an opportunity to help you bring yourself back to a normal state.

📍Identify the type of thoughts 

The most common cognitive distortions are -
Polarized thinking - All or nothing thinking, we have to be perfect or we are a complete failure.

Filtering - Magnifies negative details and filters out the positive ones.

Labeling - Assigning labels to ourselves or other people.

📍Challenge obnoxious thoughts 

Ask yourself these questions - 

● Do I have evidence that this thought is true or not ?
●Is there a more positive way of looking at the situation?
●Is the thought helpful ?How will worrying about it help me and how will it hurt me ?
●How likely is it that I'm scared of what actually will happen ?

📍Brainstorm solutions 

If your worry is solvable start brainstorming solutions to control the narrative. Don't worry about trying to find the perfect solution. Focus on what you can control.
