A heavily market research and consumer insight focused role, developing and implementing Leeds University Unioin's (LUU) annual and strategic market research aims. The role also involves, understanding research in view of the union's strategic plan, understanding project based market research requirements and the ability to deconstruct and embed student insight, segmentation profiling and journey mapping. Along with supporting the marketing team with Union wide projects, using this data to create a more targeted, focused and student centric union for all our students.

Working as part of a small team to provided excellent customer service and making sure all customers love their time at Leeds.

CATS Retail Sales Assistant

Working as an individual delivering great customer service in a fast paced seasonal environment. Making sure that as an individual I am able to provide a service that rivals that of a team. More recently I managed, form concept to product, Leeds University Unions first clothing sale lock-in. Closing down the building and offering food and drinks along with discounted clothing offers, for a limited time, for a limited clientele. This concept was developed through working with multiple departments including the advertising and marketing team, to create photo shoots and videos that would attract and relate to 30,000+ students. The event proved very successful and is currently being reviewed as a permanent event within the union.

Skills: Cash handling, customer service, managing a team, communication, problem solving, photo/video editing, interviewer skill and time management.

Responsibilities: Cash handling, self-management, opening and closing shop and shop layout and dynamics.

Gear Retail Sales Assistant

Working as part of a leading team in the bars and venues department of Leeds University Union. Providing great customer service to over 30,000 customers and making sure the policies and standards of the union are up-held. 
Skills: Picked up great leadership skills, team building, communication, working to deadlines, cash handling, laws and licensing, researching and gathering information and conflict management.
Responsibilities: Cash handling, licensing laws and regulations, team management, assessment centre co-ordinating and customer service.

We aim to inspire and push the world of dance by providing a platform for all to showcase their talents.
