Senior Contracts Engineer

ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEMS PROJECTS

1.Based in Site and Administrating the Subcontracts. 
2.Monitor the subcontractor compliance to the subcontracts as per the company policy and applicable regulations.
3.Prepares correspondence and maintains records necessary to ensure effective administration of Contractual matters.
4.Prepares contractual notices in accordance with requirements of the contract.
5.Ensure that all contractual procedures are implemented and maintained
6.Advice on all contractual matters, Investigates problems and recommends corrective action.
7.Review and respond to subcontractors claims in accordance with the provisions of the Subcontract and ensure the Clients interests are protected
8.Comprehend, analyse and interpret terms and conditions of subcontract and articulate subcontract obligations to other stakeholders
9.Ensure all warranties, bonds, insurances, guarantees, etc. are in place and maintained and updated in accordance with the contract and are in compliance with the Clients requirements
10.Prepare recommendations for Amendment & Release of Retention and Bonds
11.Prepares subcontract close-out procedures to ensure that all terms and conditions of the contracts have been complied with prior to final payment to subcontractors.
12.Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of Amendments, VO, VR and Claim Logs
13.Advise on contractual implications of change orders
14.Arrange, attend and lead Contractual Meetings
15.Provide contractual advice & Assists QS in the evaluation & preparation of Interim and Final Payment Certificates
16.Assist in the preparation of Monthly Progress Reports
17.Maintain Issue log / Risk Register for all commercial and contractual issues & risks.
18.Negotiate the contract terms and incorporating them into the subcontract Amendment.
19.Assist in project monitoring and project benchmarking.
20.Maintain and oversee subcontract database.
21.Collaborate with the legal team, if necessary.
22.Participate in financial/contractual audits.

Senior Contract Administrator

1.	Responsible for finalisation of Global Orders for Project Specific Items & Services (OIL & GAS PROJECT)
2.	Diagnosing procurement needs & implementing strategies, budgets & plans for cost effective purchase of materials 
3.	Preparing RFQs, Contract Agreements, Purchase Orders and Service Orders documents by ensuring that technical specifications are clear and commercial terms & legal provisions are adequate to safeguard the company’s interests.
4.	Holding Techno-Commercial discussions with various Domestic & International suppliers and finalizing rates & orders within allocated budget. 
5.	Ensuring purchase schedules against the purchase plan for timely procurement of various items.

Manager Supply Chain Management

1.	Act as primary contact between the project team and management, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed effectively and promptly.
2.	Review the contractual obligations of involved parties and continually review to ensure that all terms & conditions are adhered to and report irregularities to Management.
3.	Respond to complex requests regarding contract obligations and revisions.
4.	Prepare & disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance and modifications.
5.	Liaise between Company, Clients and vendors with responsibility for adherence to company policies & procedures. 
6.	Appraise the project team on contractual terms.

7.	Oversee contract dispute resolution by performing research, gathering and analysing fact, obtaining legal review as appropriate and making recommendations to Management.
8.	Prepare correspondence to Client, contractors and consultants regarding force majeure, terminations, suspensions and notices to cure, contract dispute, pre-qualification suspensions and other matters for review and approval.
9.	Prepare and submit amendments to agreements to Department Head for review and decision.
10.	Manage change orders with Project Manager.
11.	Develop and Integrate tools, templates, methods and processes.
12.	Identify, update and maintain Risk Registers

Contracts Engineer

1.	Focal point for the Contracts, Procurement & Commercial Management for the Projects. 
2.	Preparing RFQs, Contract Agreements, Purchase Orders and service orders documentation by ensuring that technical specifications are clear and commercial terms & legal provisions are adequate to safeguard the company’s interests
3.	Diagnosing procurement needs & implementing strategies, budgets & plans for cost effective purchase of materials holding techno-commercial discussions with various Domestic & International suppliers and finalizing rates & orders within allocated Budget; ensuring purchase schedules against the purchase plan for timely procurement.
4.	Undertaking analysis of technical, commercial & legal aspects of the offers and providing recommendation to the management; controlling the contract in terms of deviations at execution stage; monitoring subcontractor’s compliance with contract requirements; ensuring appropriate 'back to back' offers from key subcontractors.
5.	Evaluating contractual terms & conditions and commercial issues pertaining to financial guarantees / bond and payments mechanism; Advising for assessment of risk-bearing contractual terms and elimination of risks.
6.	Expediting delivery of materials as per delivery schedule; coordinating materials shipment worldwide basis; monitoring Letter of Credit, Forward Currency Booking & Guarantees with respect to material delivery.
7.	Managing cost of the project from starting until the stage of inception and completion & handing over; ensuring completion of project on time and within budget of material & resources.
8.	Ensuring timely correspondence for delay notification, claim notification, force majeure notification to client/supplier/third party.
9.	Projecting cash flow, finance requirements and arranging Project specific insurances; tracking progress invoices from sub-contractors, verifying accounts, executing requisite payments and providing regular updates of payment status to the Finance Department.
