Happy Veterans Day to my grandfather's who were both World War II veterans. They may be in Heaven now, but certainly not forgotten.

I need my own TV show. I truly am The Diagnosis Detective.

Earlier this year I made a prediction about a family member's health. We got validation from their doctor recently I was right. I may not be a doctor, but I am damn good at getting a diagnosis. 💪

A couple years ago my mom was having chronic ongoing headaches. They were literally impairing her everyday life.
It took multiple appointments with her physician just to get a referral for a neurologist to then only have that specialist try to gaslight her with a "headache syndrome" diagnosis, but I knew better. I advocated for her, and was able to get her a CT scan to prove I was right. There were two findings in that CT, one being a growth.

My uncle was having severe visual and clinical symptoms. I knew there was something serious going on, but his doctors kept gaslighting him. They tried to say his lymphedema was just what it was never looking for the underlying cause, rather just prescribing pills. I knew there was one. He died suddenly of cardiac arrest. He had an underlying heart condition. The year he died I said he wouldn't be alive by the end of the year. Again, I was right.

I was my own Diagnosis Detective, which also is the name of my book. I found the cause (environmental bacteria), and the pathology test that gave us answers, to a diagnosis I had been given, Granulomatous mastitis, as well as what caused that infection when doctors had no answers for me.

I have since helped countless women across the world help determine the root cause for the same diagnosis they had been given when their doctors failed them as well. I even looked through their pathology reports where there were missed clues.

It's sad how our healthcare system is. We can do so much better.
