Tamara Totovic is a psychiatric nurse and a single mother. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing and has been working in the mental health field for the past fourteen years. Tamara has always wanted to make the world a better place and imbibing children with those very values seemed like the best avenue to fulfill that dream. The birth of her daughter, Savannah, three years ago, gave her the final push and inspired her to ultimately put the pen to paper. She hopes that young readers come away from her books not only learning interesting facts but also about friendship and teamwork. When Tamara isn’t working, you can find her playing with her daughter or holed up in a couch with a good book and a cup of coffee. She currently lives in Coquitlam, BC, Canada.
