As the Founder and CEO of Global Village Publishing Inc. in Canada, I spearhead an international publishing venture that has left an indelible mark in over 60 countries. Our work, particularly through the "Best of" series and the rapidly expanding "INNOVATE" series, shows a strong dedication to highlighting the diverse and exciting world of innovation and entrepreneurship globally.

The heart of our mission lies in the INNOVATE Series. This ambitious project maps out the intricate innovation ecosystems of cities and industries across the globe. We spotlight leading individuals, organizations, and institutions, bringing their groundbreaking work to the fore. But Simon Ellis is changing that. His startup Jem gives 150,000+ frontline workers access to all of the above through WhatsApp.
It's fast, affordable, and, most importantly, dignified.

Their vision is to reach 1 million workers by 2030, with no more paper payslips or payday loans, built on a future where tech closes gaps instead of widening them.
