Demonstrate year-on-year improvement in the expense base reduction and increasing efficiency in premises utilization, measurable in the annual cost per seat.

Operational head for 324 buildings comprising of both Retail and Corporate facilities spread across four provinces. These include Kwa-Zulu Natal,
Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Eastern Cape. Full risk service management of security services, soft services, critical engineering and normal
maintenance management. Member of implementation team and was workstream lead for the implementation of Security, both physical and electronic
as well as all Soft services. Develop, train and motivate the facilities team to ensure optimal productivity and innovation. Acts as liaison between Retail,
Corporate and Project Management groups through proactive involvement with remodels, consolidations and fit-outs. Ensure commercial and financial
sustainability of facilities with input into cost containment, functional requirements and facility feasibility.

National Operations Lead for International Retailer specializing in Apparel, Home ware, Sporting equipment including Distribution Centres. Total store footprint of 1200 stores including a Head Office facility and 2 DCs. Management of facilities including security, CIT, alarm monitoring and response, Soft Services as well as Technical Services. Executive for a multifunctional facilities team operating from Durban, Cape Town and Gauteng

Extensive experience in Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Management across a wide spectrum of industries including Banking and Financial Services, Medical, Hospitality, Urban Environments and Petrochemical. Highly energetic and output driven with a strong emphasis on driving efficiencies towards world class facilities. 

Currently member of the Group Property Management Team at Standard Chartered Bank, with collective responsibility for developing the Property Strategy aligned with the overall Bank strategy, managing resources, overall financial and risk management as well as being the regional representative on the Management Team. Responsible for the Property geographic operating model and resourcing/budget decisions in Europe and Americas. Leads the specific region and optimization of regional and country resources and specialisms (AM, PM, FM and others).

Previously, Head of Property for UK and Europe based at 1 Basinghall Avenue, the bank’s Head Office in London. Responsible for coverage of UK, Ireland, Jersey, Falkland Islands, Germany, France, Sweden and Turkey of c. 295K sqft. Responsible for the Property functions across the UK and Europe and ensuring that all premises are well managed, well operated and are safe, secure and productive for the Group’s staff and customers.

Previously the Cluster Head of Property for Standard Chartered Bank, Southern Africa covering South Africa, Angola, Botswana, Mauritius, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Accountable executive for the full spectrum of Property services including Workplace Management, Asset Management, Project and Risk Management. Total coverage of 671,000 sqft, 138 properties and 66 Retail branches. Also Corporate Realty Services Head and Facilities Management Cluster Lead for Citi responsible for South Africa, Gabon and Cameroon including Facilities Management, Projects and Real Estate.  leaders.

Educationally, I am an Industrial Engineer (ML Sultan now Durban University of Technology) with a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) (MANCOSA). Member of CoreNet Global EMEA as well as a certified Mental Health First Aider (MHFA England)
