A few weeks ago, I saw some BULLSH*T advice from one of the top creators in her niche.

Someone asked her, "Please give me 2 pieces of advice to grow on LinkedIn."

Her advice:

"Post more lead magnets
Join an engagement pod"

That advice only works if you measure success in dopamine points.

Real founders don't. They measure signal, trust, and deal flow.

Lead magnets don't fix a foggy message.
Pods don't make an audience care.

Real growth looks slower because it's built on clarity. 

A founder with a clear message outperforms any hack because the market knows exactly what they stand for.

Clarity creates consistency. 
Consistency builds brand.

I'm 26, Gen Z, and I've broken half the "rules" women are supposed to follow by now.

You know the script we were handed:

Graduate at the right time. Pick the right degree. Land the right job. Married by 25, bonus points if you're already planning baby names by 27. Smile. Keep up. Don't fall behind.

Because if you don't hit those marks, the world has opinions. And if you're a woman, they have questions too. "How old are you again?" As if age is a deadline instead of a detail.

Here's my version (no one prepared me for):

I finished school and college early. I graduated at 22. But at 24, instead of walking into a "perfect" career, I was learning skills from scratch. At 25, I earned my first real money.

At 26, I'm raising a different kind of baby: a ghostwriting and lead-gen business while caring for my parents at home.

It's enough. It's mine.

It's a life that makes sense for who I am right now.

I'm not sharing this to say everyone needs to build something impressive by 26.

I'm sharing it because the timelines we inherited were built for someone else's priorities.

We don't move at the same speed.
We don't want the same things.

And we're not running the same race.

"Left behind" isn’t real.

It's a shadow we stop seeing once we start choosing our own pace.

I shared my truth, a raw story of my side, to show the world what my values are. I can't stand with oppressors. I can't work with Zionists. This post went semi-viral. Out of 20 leads, 15 can't afford my services or ghosted - underqualified. Only 5 are qualified.

See, virality can bring you leads. But the highest ratio is of the unqualified.

I'm doing a workshop on how to get inbound clients by Christmas using nothing but organic LinkedIn content.

I'm building a $5-figure ARR one-person business.

Breakdown:

I’ve called this little system 'The LinkedIn Client Engine'

My clients installed this (or parts of it) in their business.

At the core, it's

1 offer. 1 post. 1-10 DM conversations.

The post builds trust, DMs turn them into customers & clients, and the offer is what they buy into.

Let’s break it down.

1️⃣ → 1 post:

You pick 1 social platform (LinkedIn).

Top Funnel: (1x a week)

Misconceptions your customers and clients have, or you had. These build resonance. Prospects see themselves in it & feel seen.

Mid Funnel: (2x a week)

These are step-by-step breakdowns of how you do things (this post is an example). What's your process and system. It shows prospects the plan on how you get from Point A to Point B.

Bottom Funnel: (1x a week)

These are case studies of your clients' work. Testimonials and raw screenshots of results. Breakdown what you did so the reader can see themselves through it. Then aim to get them off the platform and into your DMs, newsletter, or elsewhere.

Note: Be specific in your approach and show your personality.

2️⃣ → 1-10 DM conversations (5 days/week)

I send 10-20 DMs on weekdays to my profile viewers, post engagers, commenters, and connections who fit in my ideal client profile.

If I get a positive reply, I start a conversation. I ask questions to peel the onion and get to know what problem they are facing. I provide them instant solutions through 3-5 minutel ong Loom videos, text-based long answers, or voice mails.

And if they want to know more about my services, I show them my snacks (micro offers).

They buy and learn how I can help them further.

It’s easier to market to customers than leads.

3️⃣ → 1 offer

I have 1 core offer with 2 tiers of access.

Done-for-you offer, 1:1 coaching, and 1:1 consultation. The only difference is the access they get to me.

This creates a pool of customers.

Then I make customer invitations to become clients.

Phew. That was a lot to take in.

TLDR:

Once the engine is installed, all you do is show up for 60-90 minutes/week or 15 days, and the engine takes care of the rest.

Last week was a bit crazy for me.

- Launched my first workshop

I delivered talks in many online groups. I presented to the communities. But it's the first time leading a workshop for my LinkedIn community. People showed excitement until they saw it wasn't free. $15 isn't much, but the moment money enters the chat, a few folks disappear instead of saying, "Not for me."

- Phone chaos

I lost my old phone on Nov 2, bought the new one, and am still reaching for the old one out of habit. Someone DM'd me saying she lost hers 2 days after reading my post. We joked that we're officially in the "phone losers" club now. Not a club I planned on joining. hahaha

- And the weather changes

I had the flu for 3 days. Cold breeze, dry cough, and foggy brain. Winter announces itself with zero grace. A runny nose was like a challenge for me. ah

- Quite weekend mode

Finished some workshop tasks. Took my mom for her monthly checkup. Took half Friday and the full Saturday off. Rest. Medical checkup. Medicine. Recharge. Planning. Worked on Sunday. Wrote 4 posts for this week. Collected some more ideas. Wrote them down before they faded.

That's pretty much it.
Just life doing its thing.

How was your last week? Is it crazy or relaxed?

I've learned something about converting $4-figure clients through LinkedIn DMs.

It never comes from the message you send.

It comes from the space you create before that message.

When someone connects with me, I don't jump straight into their inbox. I wait 7–14 days, engage with their posts, and warm up the relationship before reaching out. This builds familiarity before I ever send a DM.

When I open the conversation, it's never about my offer. I ask what they're working on, what they're achieving, and where they're stuck. This gives me context before I even think about pitching.

As we go deeper, I listen for pain points, especially around how they use LinkedIn for client acquisition. It’s like peeling an onion: every question brings us closer to the real problem underneath.

Once they open up, I share insights according to their situation. The goal isn't to "sell", it's to help them solve part of the problem right there in the chat. That’s where trust gets built.

When the timing feels right, I share my G-Doc offer. It lays out my services clearly and lets them decide if now's the time to fix their problem with me. No pressure. Just clarity.

DMs don't convert because you push.

They convert because you listen.

In the DM conversations, B2B founders open up about not getting inbound leads while posting more content.

Here’s the reality:

Inbound demand doesn't come from posting more.
It comes from posting what ideal clients actually trust.

Here’s the pattern I see with the B2B founders:

They're not trying to "get clients."
They're trying to shape the category they sell into.

Their content isn't flashy.
It's clear. It’s grounded.

And it speaks to the buyer's worldview.

Because of that, inbound isn't random.
It's predictable.

One founder I work with went from "LinkedIn feels dead" to taking weekly calls with people who already wanted to work with him.

And no, his posts didn't go viral.

But his message finally aligned with what his market truly cared about.

That's the inbound demand engine.

Align the message → build the trust → attract the right clients.
