International Food Network (IFN) is a subsidiary of SIDRA LLC, based in Dubai, UAE. IFN’s focus is primarily on agricultural food production and other food solutions to meet the feeding needs of the diverse population in the GCC region.
Developed Strategic Direction and the business model based on the board of directors' brief. 
The organization is a foods solution company that is also engaged in diverse operations ranging from innovative agricultural cultivation of food crops to packing of farm products, such as a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits, to manufacturing, distribution, and trading of imported processed food products, specialty products, as well as fruits and vegetables.
Managing three strategic business units, and each of these units has specialized operations.

	Contract Farms ( Out Grower program)
Managed model Farms, contracted farms in UAE, and tied up sourcing of Fresh Vegetables from Farms in Jordan, Iran, and Oman and inducted a team of Professionals for the purpose. Daily average sales from the division now stand at US $ 16,000.

	Fresh Fruit and Vegetables imports and distribution
Developed sourcing of all Fresh Fruits from all over the world, both from the Northern and Southern Hemisphere. Availability is managed throughout the year. Sales and distribution are handled, and the market includes Super / hyper Markets, wholesale, and Re-Export to other GCC countries. 
The farms and Fresh division contributes to US $ 16 Million in annual sales with a contribution of 12% net.

	Processed Food – Manufacturing, Branding, selling, and distribute
Launched middle of the year. Already tied up with a Spanish company for Certified Organic Products under IFN’s Brand and Convention processed food Products from India and Thailand.
Participated Every Year in major food fares such as Fruit Logistica, Berlin, Germany, Asia Fruit Logistica, Hongkong, and Gulf Foods, Dubai.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

STERLING AGRO PRODUCT PROCESSING PRIVATE LIMITED & PLANET PICKLES

Siva group is a multi-business and global investment company worth over 3 billion US $. My job is to create vision, drive growth and profitability of “FOOD AND AGRI DIVISION” of the group in India. 
Handled three SBU’s as CEO / Director and Business Head, an export oriented company (100% EOU) with a combined T/O of INR 450 million, exporting processed vegetables produced under contract farming. The products are marketed under private labels of major super market chains in North America, Europe, Pacific regions and Russia.
The other two verticals initiated after my joining have a combined T/O of INR 1480 million by way of commodities trading. Under Merchant exports unit, I handle Fruit Juices, concentrates, sesame seeds, cardamom and other spices exports. Trading unit is responsible for Pulses and edible oils imports & trading in India. 
All SBUs were profit making and key achievements so far being:-
1.	Turned around a 13 year old 100 % EOU company by restructuring, revamping the factory and changing the customer mix to profitability.
2.	Improved Domestic market share to reduce export related risk by roping Delmonte, India as partner to supply Institutional customers.
3.	Started 2 verticals to improve the revenue stream in Agro operations (Merchant Exports (Rs 11 Cr) and Pulses Trading Rs 130 Cr) and third vertical to start from JAN 2012, edible oil trading and packing by managing a tank farm in a private port in east coast.

Keventer Fresh

The company is a SPV for managing Supply Chain for Metro C & C, Reliance Retail and Others retailers in eastern India. Developed a distribution centre of 3 Lac Sq feet size dry and wet products with cold stores and ripening chambers. Sourcing is being arranged thru” various Farmer's organizations in the states of West Bengal / Jharkhand / Orissa / Sikkim. Marketing in Kolkata of Ripened Banana, Apples, & Other Fresh Fruits. First company to brand fresh fruits in eastern India. Managed fresh stores in major supermarkets as ‘SHOP IN SHOP ‘backed by home supply concept as a retail initiative.
Achieved:-
1.	Launched “ Keventer Fresh “ branded Shop- in – Shop integrated with Direct to home supply with major super market chains in Kolkata – MORE, FOOD BAZAR, RELIANCE FRESH.
2.	Managed construction of a “Distribution Center” for Metro Cash and Carry, Reliance Industries, More with 2.25 Lac sq Feet with both wet and dry facilities. Wet includes cold storage and ripening chambers.

AMRIT HATCHERIES PRIVATE LIMITED

This company is engaged in the production and marketing poultry feed production in eastern India over three decades with a T/O of over INR 3000 million. Started an integrated operation of growing broiler chickens under contract, trading and processing. Also launched “Amrit Fresh “branded chicken both chilled and frozen. Employed various process improvement techniques to achieve overall efficiency in the integrated operations. 
Provided new direction and guided the organization by involving in developing concepts, implement and monitor winning business strategies to drive growth in business volumes as well as profitability. Focused the efforts across functions analyzing and linking various divisions, business and corporate strategy of the organization as integrated operator starting from breeding farm to processing of poultry products. 
Proactively identified areas of improvement in the people process and focused on capability building by training and bringing the right skills. 
Involved in creating Product Development Strategy and Brand Building efforts in line with the requirements to launch branded processed chicken products. Launched first branded shop “Amrit Fresh” and planned the expansion. Expanded the operation in Northern India.
Successfully managed business processes such as SBU formation, Annual Operating Plan (Budget) for each business and handled the task of defining Key Result Areas for professionals.

PepsiCo

Frito-Lay is snack food division of PepsiCo with popular brands like Lays, Kurkure, Cheetos, Lehar and Quaker oats. 
As Vice President my job was to procure potatoes for all the three processing units through contract farming as well from the designated markets as per Annual Operating Plan (AOP) also as per sales demand! Job involved pedigreed potato seed production, contract farming, buying from markets, thru’ a large network .Established a strong Government and Agri institutes interface. The territory includes Karnataka, Maharashtra, UP, Punjab MP and West Bengal. 
Managed a chain of cold stores in important and strategic locations for off-season requirement and to gain cost advantage. 
Though a short term but effectively performed and achieved the expected goal by setting direction for long term quality seed production and increased the share Frito-Lay's specialty seed to farmers than local ones., farmer's training especially in newer geographies like West Bengal and the result was immediate by reducing dependant on southern states for West Bengal processing unit.
