Here is my personal reader's digest, my own top 5 takeaways every innovation leader should know:

1️⃣ 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗪𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲
Despite fears, Chinese automakers are unlikely to “crush” European brands. Just as Europe weathered Japanese and Korean competition, it’s now responding with innovation and investment. Only one Chinese brand (MG) is expected to break into the Czech top 10 in the next 5 years.

2️⃣ 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 #𝟭 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲
Unreliable supply chains are the industry’s biggest risk. Over two-thirds of companies are already restructuring towards “near-shoring” and “friend-shoring” to reduce geopolitical and logistical vulnerabilities.

3️⃣ 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 & 𝗔𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲
More than a third of executives expect a wave of M&A in the next 3 years, with 69% predicting fewer carmakers and 65% expecting a drop in suppliers.

4️⃣ 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 & 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹
By 2030, up to 40% of new cars could be bought online. 78% of leaders believe car sharing and subscription models will become standard, but a third admit digital sales make customer relationships harder.

5️⃣ 𝗘𝗩 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿
Global EV production is set to hit 30 million by 2030 (up from 17.3 million in 2024), but growth is slowing in Europe and North America due to subsidy cuts and charging infrastructure gaps. Fun fact: In H1 2025, the Czech Republic had the fastest EV registration growth in the EU, but still lags behind the EU average!

🔎💡 And 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴ly: Czechia🇨🇿 and Germany🇩🇪 are 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, with pilot projects for autonomous vehicles, buses and taxis rolling out soon.

What an incredible experience at Fintech Talents Festival 2025 in London: The UK's largest & most impactful fintech event! And from my humble view, the true highlight of the innovator's & disruptor's season!

I spoke in 2 days on 2 stages, trying to resolve together 1 big question: How do we balance the art of the possible with the art of the practical, and can we truly trust the machine?

✅Day1 - Main Festival Stage “Let’s talk about AI -Balancing the art of the possible with the art of the practical” with Michael Anyfantakis (Vigilant AI.ai), Rohit D.. (Lloyds Banking Group), and Scott Wilson (Covecta).
👉 Our conversation concluded with that AI success isn’t about chasing every possibility - it’s about identifying practical use cases that deliver measurable impact fast. Both speakers and attendees agreed that prioritization and governance are the real differentiators in turning ambition into action.

✅Day2 - AI Transformation Stage “Can you trust the machine?” with Wasim Mushtaq (1CG), Carol Wilson (Royal London), and Marko Katavic (Moneybox).
👉 We've agreed, trust emerged as the cornerstone of AI adoption. Transparency, fairness, and accountability aren’t optional - they’re essential for scaling AI responsibly. Without trust, even the most advanced algorithms fail to gain traction with customers and regulators.

1️⃣ 84% of banking leaders feel shareholder pressure to show immediate ROI on AI investments, yet 36% admit lacking tools to measure it effectively. (KPMG 2025 Global CEO Outlook)
🚩 What you don't measure, you can't manage.

2️⃣ 86% of leaders believe AI adoption gives a competitive edge, but trust remains fragile - only 46% of people globally trust AI systems. (Trust, Attitudes and Use of AI: A Global Study 2025, University of Melbourne & KPMG)
🚩 We've agreed: trust drives the adoption, and especially in banking and financial services.

3️⃣ 72% of banks cite poor data quality as the biggest barrier to AI adoption. (KPMG Intelligent Banking Report 2025)
🚩 Common sense says: garbage in - garbage out. Data integrity and governance remain critical for scaling AI. Without clean connected data, even advanced AI models fail to deliver expected outcomes.

Personalization pillar saw a slight dip (-0.4%), signaling room for improvement.

Integrity pillar remains stable at +0.1%, proving trust is still a cornerstone.

4️⃣ 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀
Ease of use pillar grew +0.6%, showing tech-driven simplicity is key to loyalty.
