Summarisation compresses information.

AI doesn't add value by making things shorter, it adds value by making you smarter.

What most teams get wrong:
They treat AI like a compression tool instead of a reasoning engine.
"Summarise this 50-page report" → you get a shorter report
"Extract the 3 decisions this data enables" → you get strategy

My recommendation:
Before asking AI to summarise, ask yourself: what decision am I trying to make?
Then prompt AI to help you make that decision, not just compress the input.

𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐬 🌅🌴It was the reset I truly needed.

Crystal-clear, relaxing beaches, unreal sunsets, exploring caves, beautiful gardens and incredible food everywhere. From oceanfront dinners at Tides to local flavors at RJJ’s, every meal came with a view and a story. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Indian food bold, authentic flavors I didn’t expect.

Learning about the island’s history and rum-making, tasting the infamous rum punches, enjoying an ice-cold beers, and seeing how different cultures come together so naturally made the experience even richer. The people were incredibly warm, the sun definitely left its mark. And yes, I tried the local hot sauce and survived 😀 

We’re all always on the go, but taking time to rest, reset, and slow down really matters.  I’d recommend everyone experience Barbados at least once 🌞 ⛱️ 🍹.

What’s cool is you can toggle between Claude 4.5 and Gemini 3 in a single session using your own API keys. It’s a great example of "Vibe Coding" without being locked into a single ecosystem.

𝟐. 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐋𝐌: Data Tables Google quietly added a way to turn unstructured PDFs into structured data tables that export to Sheets. We talk about "chatting with docs" all the time, but seeing a tool move toward auto-generating schemas directly from a messy source is a shift I'm watching.

𝟑. 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐢 𝐀𝐈 𝐇𝐀𝐓+ 𝟐 ($130) If you like local hardware, this just dropped. It has 8GB of dedicated AI RAM and 40 TOPS of compute. It's interesting because it makes running vision-language models (VLMs) and small LLMs locally on a tiny Pi actually feel smooth no cloud required.

𝟒. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟑,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐓𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐬/𝐒𝐞𝐜 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 OpenAI’s new partnership with Cerebras is aiming for massive inference speeds. I find this interesting because at 3k tokens/sec, the "latency" of AI basically disappears. It changes the feel of an interaction from "waiting for a response" to a real-time flow.

𝟓. 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜 just moved this to the $20 Pro plan. It’s their take on a desktop agent that handles files and basic office tasks. It’s a neat preview of how these tools might look for everyone soon moving beyond the terminal and into general workflows.

For a long time, ChatGPT was my default. But lately, my workflow has moved to Gemini as my "First Stop." This wasn't a sudden "breakup" it was a gradual realization that for my 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 projects, the utility has simply outpaced my old habits.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 "𝐖𝐡𝐲" 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞:

𝟏. 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦-𝐖𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭: In my personal experience, Gemini’s 1M+ token window is the ultimate game-changer. I don't have to trim my codebase or curate PDF snippets anymore. I can drop an entire project folder in, and the logic remains consistent across the entire "haystack."

𝟐. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐄𝐧𝐝 "𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞" 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫: As a professional, the economics matter. Gemini offers pro-grade features massive context, high-fidelity image generation, and multimodal reasoning without the immediate $20/month gate often required for top-tier models. It’s "paid quality" performance that is incredibly accessible.

𝟑. 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 > 𝐀𝐩𝐩 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬: I still think the GPT Store is an incredible resource for niche tools. However, in my current personal daily workflow, I find myself using it less. I've found that native Gems plugged directly into my Google Drive and Workspace create a more seamless, personalized environment for the work I do every day.

𝟒. 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞-𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠: While ChatGPT has a head start on third-party apps, Google is rapidly expanding Gemini's Extensions and agentic capabilities. I'm betting on that deep ecosystem integration for the long term.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬:

⚠️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫: Gemini is aggressively multimodal. If I’m refining a system prompt with descriptive language (e.g., "minimalist interface"), it often "helpfully" generates an image instead of giving me the text I asked for.

⚠️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞: When you ask Gemini to generate raw Markdown text, it almost always renders it immediately, making it difficult to copy the actual text for external use.

𝐌𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: I start those prompts with "[MODE: TEXT ONLY]" or explicitly tell it to "output inside a code block." It forces the model to stay in "Engineer Mode" rather than "Artist Mode" and ensures I get the raw text I need.

AI is personal. For my logic-heavy, data-dense tasks, Gemini is currently winning the top spot in my stack.
