I don’t just assess risks—I translate details into decisions that balance data, compliance, and the human side of insurance. Whether it’s navigating high-net-worth accounts, collaborating with advisers, or untangling complex medical histories, I aim for outcomes that are sharp, fair, and sustainable.

Beyond the technical side, I thrive on collaboration: working with bancassurance teams, mentoring underwriters, and streamlining processes to make underwriting less of a bottleneck and more of a value-add.

I’m also curious by nature (yes, I still read non-life insurance articles for fun—and okay, CIP points). Continuous improvement, unconventional insights, and challenging the status quo are what keep this work exciting.

Outside of underwriting, you’ll find me running (sometimes marathons, sometimes just after coffee), reading, hiking, traveling, or at home with my cat—still the real boss of the household.

Sometimes underwriting sees the signal before the diagnosis.

This case wasn’t about assumptions or blame.
Just health indicators that are significantly elevated — and not yet fully understood, declared, or treated.

Globally, around 44% of adults with diabetes and hypertension don’t know yet that they have it. 
(World Health Organization, International Diabetes Federation).

So “not today” isn’t a hard no.
It’s a not yet — allowing time for proper treatment and confirmation that these conditions are manageable.
