Posting “I’m available to be a guest” is the podcast equivalent of standing in the middle of a crowded street yelling, “Someone hire me.”

It signals one thing: you need the opportunity more than the opportunity needs you.

And podcast hosts can smell that from a mile away.

Here’s the reality no one wants to say out loud:

Getting booked on podcasts today is a value exchange. 

Sometimes that value is your expertise. 

Sometimes it’s your audience. 

Sometimes it’s your credibility. 

And yes, sometimes it’s your budget.
