What the next wave of founder content will look like in 2026

We’re past the “talking head” era.
The algorithm doesn’t need more faces - it needs more feeling.

The founders who’ll win in 2026 aren’t the loudest.
They’re the ones who make people care.

Here’s what I’m seeing:

1️⃣ Story > Statement
People are tired of opinions. They want moments.
A 10-second story from your day will outperform 10 “thoughts on leadership.”

2️⃣ Texture > Polish
The new aesthetic is intentional imperfection.
Subtitles slightly off, background noise, real laughter. It signals truth, not production.

3️⃣ Identity > Industry
The era of hiding behind your company is over.
Your values, quirks, and contradictions are what create loyalty.

4️⃣ Depth > Volume
One well-crafted clip can feed 10 micro-moments.
The next wave isn’t about posting more, it’s about repurposing smarter.

5️⃣ Intuition > Algorithm
Data helps. But instinct creates art.
And audiences are craving art again.

So if you’re planning your 2026 content strategy…
Stop asking, “What’s performing?”
Start asking, “What’s alive?”

Because attention follows energy.
Always has. Always will.

Convenience culture sells the idea of ease.
But “easy now” nearly always means “hard later.”

That’s something I learned in recovery:
the shortcut isn’t a shortcut at all.

The convenient path is usually the one that drains you in the long run.
The inconvenient path — showing up, putting in effort, staying present —
that’s where the reward is.

And it’s the same with life today.
Every time I take the so-called “easy” option, I pay for it later.

Convenience lies to you.
The real ease comes from choosing the path that feels honest, not automatic.

Too much screen time messes with me.

Mentally, physically, I just feel off.

And the fix? It’s almost stupidly simple.

Every day, no matter what, I step outside.
No screens.
Just movement, fresh air, and space to reset.

It doesn’t have to be a big thing:

– A 10-minute walk
– A loop around the block
– A few minutes of stretching in the sun

But it works.

I come back clearer.
Less wired.
More like myself.

I used to treat recovery like a reward.

Something you earned after the work was done.

But over time I realised it is the work.
The quiet moments....the walk, the pause, the space to think - these are where things actually integrate.

Tell themselves they’ll “come back when things are quieter.”
(They rarely do.)

Here’s what I’ve seen after working with dozens of founders on video content:

Consistency doesn’t come from willpower.
It comes from clarity.

When you know why you’re showing up.
Not just to promote, but to document, serve, or think out loud.
Then the process stops being a chore.

The algorithm isn’t the enemy.
Lack of alignment is.

Here’s how I fix it with clients (and myself):
1️⃣ Get clear on your content identity — who you’re talking to and what you stand for.
2️⃣ Build a repeatable rhythm — a format or ritual you can sustain even on your worst week.
3️⃣ Anchor every post to truth — something you’ve learned, noticed, or felt that day.

That’s what makes your content alive.
Not perfectly scheduled.

Because the goal isn’t to be a content machine.
It’s to stay in the conversation with your audience — and yourself.

We’re told convenience gives us more.
More time. More freedom. More efficiency.

But in practice, it often gives us less.
Less presence.
Less meaning.
Less spontaneity.

Convenience is never neutral — it always trades something away.

So the real question isn’t: is it easier?
It’s: is it worth the cost?
