After completing my education from Cardiff University, I joined Alpha group and worked under my Grandfather and learnt all about handling a production facility and worked in all departments and learnt every process in detail.

Then, I started working with my father and  went around the world with him like his EA, just soaking in as much knowledge as I could. 

Then by 2009 I was handling one division of business and that is when I started doing my MBA from S.P. Jain college and was able to connect the dots between my MBA and actual work.

By 2012, I had gained the full confidence of my grandfather and father and that is when I started handling one of the multiple family businesses like a complete Entrepreneur. This was exactly when I took over complete operations of Alpha Plastomers Pvt. Ltd.

We were the first company to start manufacturing of this product in India in 2006 exactly when I had joined the group.By 2014, we had gained 35% market share in this segment in India.

I am a seasoned entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in business leadership. My academic background includes a degree in Supply Chain Management from Cardiff University, UK, and an MBA focused on Family Managed Business from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research. This combination of education and hands-on experience has equipped me to successfully navigate and grow diverse business environments.

My career began with leading the family business, Alpha Plastomers, where I gained extensive expertise in operations, management, and strategic growth. After significantly expanding the company, I transitioned into the agri-tech sector by founding GROWiT India Pvt. Ltd., with the vision of revolutionizing protective farming in India.

GROWiT was born out of a personal journey in 2017 when my brother Akshay and I ventured into farming with the goal of growing our own food. Discovering the potential of protective farming but finding a lack of quality products in the market, we decided to create our own. The success of our innovations, such as mulch and crop covers, led to the establishment of GROWiT, which now empowers over 500,000 farmers across 10 states with sustainable solutions.

At GROWiT, our mission is to "Empower Farmers for Food Security Towards a Sustainable Future." We are committed to becoming the largest protective farming company globally, providing comprehensive soil-to-harvest solutions that address the evolving challenges of modern agriculture.

I am also passionate about continuous learning, particularly in farming, entrepreneurship, and sustainable practices. This drive has led me to join the Stanford Seed Transformation Program, where I am eager to engage with international faculty and like-minded professionals to transform GROWiT into a global company.

“Mitti ka haal kya hai?”

For years, farmers across Chhattisgarh struggled with one common question. 

Monu Jain from Jain Krishi Kendra saw this struggle every day. 

Farmers waited 10–15 days for lab reports that rarely matched their actual field conditions.

Until he introduced Growit India Soil Guru Pro.

In a live demo at his shop, Monu tested a soil sample in front of dozens of farmers.

Within 5 minutes, the device showed everything:

- pH, Moisture, and NPK levels
- Nutrient deficiencies and crop recommendations

And built a 125-acre farming system in Bastar (Chhattisgarh) instead.

Prabhas came back to Keshkal in 2012 with an MCA degree and five acres of family land.

Everyone around him said the same thing:

“Take a city job. Farming won’t take you anywhere.”

He didn’t agree.

He believed that if you mix science with soil, the results can surprise you.
Twelve years later, he’s cultivating 100+ acres and running a 650-member FPO.
But his real shift didn’t happen overnight.

It started when he fixed two long-standing gaps:

Protection and precision.

Before Growit India, local farmers kept losing money because cheap mulch sheets cracked under heat, tore during removal, and collapsed mid-season.

Once Prabhas switched, the outcomes changed:

Last week, we visited one of India’s most surprising nurseries. 
A place where plants don’t just grow… they clean.
