I am a seasoned entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in business leadership. My academic background includes a degree in Supply Chain Management from Cardiff University, UK, and an MBA focused on Family Managed Business from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research. This combination of education and hands-on experience has equipped me to successfully navigate and grow diverse business environments.

My career began with leading the family business, Alpha Plastomers, where I gained extensive expertise in operations, management, and strategic growth. After significantly expanding the company, I transitioned into the agri-tech sector by founding GROWiT India Pvt. Ltd., with the vision of revolutionizing protective farming in India.

GROWiT was born out of a personal journey in 2017 when my brother Akshay and I ventured into farming with the goal of growing our own food. Discovering the potential of protective farming but finding a lack of quality products in the market, we decided to create our own. The success of our innovations, such as mulch and crop covers, led to the establishment of GROWiT, which now empowers over 500,000 farmers across 10 states with sustainable solutions.

At GROWiT, our mission is to "Empower Farmers for Food Security Towards a Sustainable Future." We are committed to becoming the largest protective farming company globally, providing comprehensive soil-to-harvest solutions that address the evolving challenges of modern agriculture.

I am also passionate about continuous learning, particularly in farming, entrepreneurship, and sustainable practices. This drive has led me to join the Stanford Seed Transformation Program, where I am eager to engage with international faculty and like-minded professionals to transform GROWiT into a global company.

Most leaders chase growth.

 Rajiv Bajaj chases clarity.

And that changes everything.

While the world talks about scale, valuation and domination…
he talks about focus, speed and identity.

Some lessons that completely shifted my thinking:

He quit scooters when they were still selling.
“Less is more.”

He exported 50% of production to 108 countries.
From domestic player to global force not by noise, but by precision.

He lost $150 per bike in Africa for over a decade.
Today, 1 in 3 bikes in Africa is Bajaj.

He rebuilt Chetak as electric.
Lost ₹2000 crores.

And still says 
“Better to lose being wrong than to lose by being late.”

That is long-term conviction.

What stands out most is his operating philosophy:

• Only 4 levels of management hierarchy
• Small hierarchy brings speed
• Fast eats slow (not big eats small)
• Strategy without tactics is a long road
• Tactics without strategy is noise

He believes:

👉 Management is an idea that must be executed.
👉 Brand and product are not the same. A product without a story is a commodity.
👉 Keep money and status out of it. Chase excellence. Money follows.
👉 Have stress of effort, not stress of result.

And this line stayed with me:

“Nothing is more powerful than doing the right thing in the present moment.”

In a world distracted by trends,
he narrows focus.

In a world obsessed with competition,
he focuses on differentiation something even Jack Trout built his philosophy around.

In a world building layers,
he removes them.

In a world managing people,
he builds doers.

Maybe that’s the real lesson:

Never let business interfere with entrepreneurship.

Because the true reward of hard work
is not what you achieve 
it’s what it makes you become.

And every day, the only question that matters is:

What is the ONE improvement I will make today?

That’s strategy.
That’s leadership.
That’s staying relevant.
