I never imagined that a journey starting in a small town in India would one day lead me here.
Today, I feel deeply grateful and humbled to share that I am receiving my U.S. Green Card under the Extraordinary Ability (EB1-A) category.
For a long time, I believed this path was not meant for someone like me.
EB1-A felt like something reserved for a rare few, people whose stories seemed far more extraordinary than my own. But the people around me saw something I had not fully recognized yet. Friends, mentors, and family encouraged me to look at my journey differently and helped me see that years of consistent work, innovation, and contribution mattered.
Over time, those small steps added up:

This milestone is not just about achievements or categories. It represents persistence through uncertainty, taking risks when outcomes were unclear, and continuing forward even when self-doubt was loud.

They raised three children with extraordinary sacrifice. Resources were limited, but their belief in education and discipline was unwavering. They taught us that character and effort matter more than circumstance. That lesson continues to guide me every day.
If there is one realization from this journey, it is this:
Many of us quietly underestimate our own paths while doing meaningful work every day. Sometimes the hardest step is believing that your story, built through persistence and contribution, is worthy.
