Before investors believe in your product, they have to believe in you. 

Before PMF, your startup isn’t the story. You are. 

Before proof comes belief, and belief spreads through people, not features.

Because investors don’t fund your product — they fund your signal. 

A product brand builds trust, but a founder brand builds conviction.

Investors don’t chase traction — they chase momentum.
Momentum is perception.
Perception is narrative.
Narrative is founder brand leverage.

Here’s the sequence that works:
1️⃣ Build founder brand pre-PMF
2️⃣ Scale product brand post-PMF
3️⃣ Fuse both into a category narrative

Product brand wins customers.
Founder brand wins investors.

The best founders?
They build both — but they start with themselves.

I used to think success came from better strategy.
Now I know—it comes from better language.

After my TEDx talk on lingo leverage, something happened that stuck with me.

As I stepped off stage, a woman approached—her notebook overflowing with scribbles.

Her name was 🌀Kaia Maeve Tingley Maeve Tingley, an individual who gives solopreneurs the process they need to build a successful business website. She said, “I couldn’t stop writing. I realized I’ve been underselling my business because I didn’t have the right words for it.”

That moment hit me hard.
Because that’s exactly what lingo leverage is about— giving people the words to express their value clearly.

One great product can be ignored, one great story can be noticed. One great lingo? That can change everything.
