Enterprising Gen-Z Podcast

I started the Enterprising Gen-Z Podcast to inspire and inform the next generation of young founders and entrepreneurs after I noticed this was a niche not being fulfilled by other business or entrepreneurship podcasts.

To date, my podcast has been listened to in in 45 countries around the world, and has been featured by serval blogs, publications and conferences.

The main bulk of my listeners are concentrated in:
- The UK (mainly London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Dublin and Cardiff)

My job role changed to BD Manager as I gained more responsibility within Wing. My roles and responsibilities are the following:
- Moving from a B2C to a B2B business model
- B2B sales and marketing
- Customer relations
- Client lead generation and CRM
- Planning and executing business strategy
- Deciding and executing monthly sales targets

Since joining, sales increased by 1200%.

Business Development Manager

After the 3 week internship, I was offered a part-time role as a part of my studies along with equity in the business. I was also given more responsibility. My roles and responsibilities included:
- Input on website design and development
- Product launch (Wing's Metal Contactless Business Card)
- Graphic design
- Social media management
- B2C sales and marketing

I contacted Wing after seeing the organisation on TikTok in order to get work experience for my university application. My responsibilities included:
- Social media management
- Organising a product launch (the Wing Button). This has since become Wing's hero product

Babson Collaborative Student Network

BSCN is global student club for select student leaders from colleges and universities around the world that are members of the Babson Collaborative for Entrepreneurship Education. Student ambassadors chosen to represent their school in BCSN will engage with a global network of peers,  learn about entrepreneurship, culture, arts, etc. from various perspectives, and develop leadership skills while planning events for a broader student audience.

I launched EGZ Events to bring the value of my podcast into real life, through empowering Gen-Z Entrepreneurs and founders through unique events. We also create bespoke events in partnership with companies looking to attract an audience of Gen-Z entrepreneurs and professionals to their products or services. EGZ Events works with companies on an individual basis to tailor these events.

After filming the 'Inside the Mind of Gen-Z Founders' by Gen-Z Talks, I was approached by the CEO of GZT to take on a role as presenter and marketing associate.

Hi - I'm Sam, the founder of The Agenzy.

I started The Agenzy aged 17 because not enough brands were able to mobilise digital natives. 

Since being founded, we’ve gone from strength to strength, opening up our service offering as clients want more.

At our core, we’re a group of 20-something year olds who just love marketing. We love creating flawless digital campaigns. We love building amazing businesses. We love seeing happy clients.

We will happily put our hands up and admit we don’t have the most years in industry… and that’s what makes us brilliant. We come at the traditional agency model with a fresh perspective which our clients love.

We’re not interested in doing the bare minimum and creating mediocre impact. We’re passionate about driving our clients forwards towards their goals.

We've worked with over 50 clients and partners, have 10 awesome team members based globally, and we offer over 35 services, designed to drive revenue, which our clients love.

2023: Obese, depressed, embarrassed in my own skin.

2025: 45kg lighter… and a half-marathon finisher. 🥇

For most of my life, I was the fat kid at school. The one who:

- Hid in oversized clothes

- Played the “funny big guy” role

- Avoided eating around others

Fast-forward to adulthood… things didn’t get better.

I poured everything into my business without any care for my own health.

Therefore the more my business grew, the more my waistline did too.

I felt trapped in a cycle, so if you told that person that he’d run a half marathon, he would’ve laughed in your face.

But then a client said something that stuck with me:

“If you fix your mind, you can fix your body. And if you fix both, your business will fix itself.”

This past year, I’ve pushed myself harder than ever.

- Gym most days

- A strict diet

- Running as often as I can

Somewhere along the way, something shifted. My health improved… and so did my business.

The kid who hated PE and cross country?

That same kid - now a man - just voluntarily ran a half marathon.

He’d be so proud of me today.

And if you’re thinking, “It’ll take too long…”

The time will pass anyway.

Start small. Start unsure.

Just start.

I won an award… 🥳

And I got to look hot in a tux… all in the same night.

Around 2 years ago I joined Roundtable, a private, invitation only community of founders.

And it’s changed my life.
