I kept seeing people talk about AI agents everywhere, but I didn’t really get the hype.

Last quarter, I was reviewing an AI workflow with a product team.

On paper, everything looked solid.
Accuracy was high.
Response time was fine.
The demo impressed everyone in the room.

Then someone asked a simple question:

“If this makes a wrong decision tomorrow, how will we know why?”

I definitely thought that Blinkit had messed up the order, until I got to know this. 


My friend had ordered Horlicks for her son. She’s been buying the same thing for years on autopilot.
She opens the bag and there she finds this extra sachet inside. Nutrimix.

She literally says, “Arre, they sent the wrong thing.”
Then she reads the note. “This won’t grow your child’s height. Right nutrition will.”
And we just stood there staring at it.

Because height… that’s been the headline for this category forever. We grew up with those ads. Taller = stronger = better. It’s so normal we don’t even question it.
And here’s a brand entering a competitor’s bag and basically saying yeah, we’re not promising that.

That’s just wild.
First the sending lab reports with every pack of their nutrimix and now this?
This is called brand building with purpose, and this brand just nailed it.

And once doubt enters, the old claim doesn’t feel as solid anymore. That’s anti-height done without drama.

A few months ago, I was checking out phones at a store.The salesman showed me the Samsung Flip. No feature list. He just flipped it open and shut. And that’s what stayed with me.

Recently, I felt the same thing with food.I was ordering on the Snacc app from Bellandur and noticed a waffle dosa on the menu, something I hadn’t seen before.
Thought Why does this exist? Then immediately thought“Okay, I need to try this.

Later, I opened the Snacc app from another area. The waffle dosa was gone. The menu looked normal again.

Same app. Different location. Not really same ingredients. Different form. And that’s what made it memorable.

Most food apps optimize for speed or price. This feels like optimizing for surprise.

“I had a dosa” is forgettable. “I had this waffle dosa on Snacc in Bellandur” sticks..

AVOID these resume mistakes if you want to switch to Data Science roles at top product companies ❌

Mistake 1️⃣ is writing generic lines like “Data enthusiast”
This tells recruiters nothing.
→ Instead, be specific, mention what problem you worked on, what data you used & what outcome you achieved.

Mistake 2️⃣ is not quantifying your impact.
 “Built a churn prediction model” sounds decent but incomplete.
→ Instead, write: “Built a churn prediction model that improved retention targeting by 18%.” 
Numbers instantly add credibility.

Mistake 3️⃣ is listing tools without context.
Writing “Python, SQL, Pandas, Scikit-learn” is not enough.
→ Instead, explain how you used them: “Used Python & Pandas to clean 5M+ records & built an XGBoost model for demand forecasting.”
Tools do matter but hands-on experience on the same makes it a qualifying skill.

Mistake 4️⃣ is skipping soft skills completely.
→ Data Scientists don’t work in isolation so effectively communicating what you worked upon & how it solved a problem is critical.

Mistake 5️⃣ is having a 2-page resume.
For most DS roles, this is a big no.
→ Keep it to 1 page, focus on strong projects, impactful work & relevant skills.

As someone who mentors working professionals wishing to be a Data Scientist, I’ve consistently noticed the same mistakes being repeated.

Fixing these small things can be the difference between rejection & your next offer letter.

Some insights don’t need big words.

This film by Zouk landed for me because of one tiny, deeply familiar moment —
a woman moving her bag to make space.

If you’ve ever noticed, bags are rarely “just bags.”
They hold our lives, our chaos, our comfort.
We place them beside us instinctively. And we only move them when someone matters.

That small act becomes a quiet love language.

What I loved about this campaign is how confidently simple it is.
No loud Valentine clichés. No forced romance.
Just a real observation, told gently, and trusted to do its job.

It made me think about my own version of “making space” —
sometimes it’s staying back a little longer,

sometimes it’s just showing up when it would’ve been easier not to.
