As much as I love the Sony FX9 for professional production, the A7RV has some newer tech features that simply make life easier in certain setups.

Have you been like me and made videos that less than 50 people saw? 

I questioned myself, was it even worth the energy, time and expense?

I kid you not, I’ve seen small to large size hospitals produce videos on YouTube. They don’t even get 100 views and they continue making them.

That’s why I produced this series.

Episode 1 of 6 – “Once the Video Is Done…” What actually happens next?

In Season 1, Parts 1 and 2, originally released in January 2024, focused on
comfort, authenticity, and removing fear around production. 

Those two short clips generated over half a million views combined on YouTube.

They proved something powerful: engaging video content does not require the business owner to be on camera. Story and authenticity carry weight.

That project started as a creative experiment. I conceptualized, wrote, produced, and directed it and we filmed 12 short episodes in a single day. The response made one thing clear.

There was a missing chapter.
Season 2 answers it.

Jessica (played by SatyaSri Mahabir) and Samantha (played by Julie Fontenot) are no longer figuring out how to be on camera. 

They’re confident now. Reflective. Strategic. 

The conversation shifts from:
How do we film?
to
Where does the video go, and who actually sees it?

Because production creates the asset.
Strategy determines the impact.

When it comes to video production, I like to keep it simple:
Are you in front of the camera or behind it?

If you are filming yourself with your phone in selfie mode and creating your own content, that is DIY. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. In fact, most people today are content creators in some way.

But if your project requires someone behind the camera managing framing, lighting, and audio, that is where professional production comes in.

The difference is not about status. It is about what the project requires.
