Specialist in corporate start-up, turnaround, and expansion; Rohail has extensive experience of evaluating, financing, and managing both green and brown field projects.

Investor Relations (as a distinct function) is a ‘critical bridge’  between a Corporation and the Stakeholders at large, particularly the Investor and Financial community.

Both Public Listed Companies and Private Family Offices utilize the Investor Relations Office as an “effective mouthpiece” to relay valuable information and data to the stakeholders.

Capital markets and stock exchanges rely heavily on the market communication conducted by Investor Relations Executives.

Boards applying “good governance” pay special attention to the Investor Relations function and induct experienced IR executives.

Aspiring Investor Relations Executives across Middle East need to pursue the Certified Investor Relations Officer (CIRO) credentials offered by The Financial Academy, Riyadh, as well as the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA).

🚀 Propelling the Saudi Real Estate Market 

REFF 2026 was a huge success thanks to proactive efforts by Abdullah Al-Harbi, CEO of REFF and President of FIABCI Saudi Arabia. 

Organized at the magnificent Riyadh Four Seasons last week, the event was attended by Global Celebrities (Sir Richard Branson, Hillary Clinton, Tucker Carlson), Saudi Ministers, Royal Elite, CEOs of Real Estate Companies, Contractors, Developers, and Investors from 30 countries.

- Saudi Arabia’s real estate market size valued at $72.8 billion in 2026, shall exceed $102.9 billion by 2031, reflecting a 7.2% CAGR. 

- The outlook is powered by Saudi Vision 2030’s giga-project pipeline, Govt-led creation of demand space, demographic surge lifting household formation, and capital market reforms to broaden institutional participation. 

- Public Investment Fund (PIF) financing of at least $40 billion a year keeps liquidity intact even as global conditions tighten, while a maturing mortgage and land tax system transforms vacant lands into productive developments. 

- Residential demand now skews toward mid-market apartments, while logistics and branded-hospitality assets command the fastest growth as manufacturing localization and tourism targets converge.

- Commercial office demands have been steadily rising since over 300 International companies and global conglomerates have established their regional offices across Riyadh. 

- Regulatory upgrades such as expanded REIT rules and premium residency permits narrow the Kingdom’s risk premium relative to regional peers and open up new lucrative routes for global investors. 

- Against this backdrop, project execution risks tied to labor shortages and inflation could cause project cost and time overruns. 

The Saudi real estate market is seeing a significantly high level of maturity, supported by strong growth rates.
 
This uptrend is reflected in robust demand from both investors and residents.
 
Allowing non-Saudis to own property opens new horizons particularly the entry of high networth investors and international real estate companies, thus ensuring healthy competition and diversity among upcoming product offerings and refining the market segments.
