I struggled with obesity for 15+ years until my doctor told me that I could have a heart attack in 5 years.

What happens when you shine LED lights into the night? The trees nearest the LED lamps don't know what time of year it is. Happens to us too, but most people don't realise it. They blame diet or genes, or stress, menopause, or themselves. 

But continue to confuse their circadian biology by surrounding themselves with light that most closely resembles a summer's midday.

Yet another paper dismantling the “fat = cholesterol = heart disease” dogma. 

But you’ll still be told by everybody from your doctor to Attia to Dayspring to reduce saturated fat (and take this statin). 

Too many academic reputations and too much industry money at stake for this science ever to be done properly. 

“Science progresses one professor’s death at a time” it used to be said. 

But these days it’s industry that controls progress.

Cardiovascular Disease not linked to saturated fats
The findings of this systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials indicate that a reduction in saturated fat intake CAN NOT be recommended to prevent cardiovascular disease or mortality! 
Nice to see “science” finally starting to catch up with common sense. Unfortunately, this is far from what most doctors and health authorities are telling people.
It’s time to stop listening to official advice that tells you to avoid nature (natural foods, sunshine, etc) while promoting artificial crutches that undermine you. It’s absurd.

The problem with fruit and vegetables.
Chapter XXIV: The stuff it’s sprayed with. 
The worst offenders in the UK?

2024: Grapefruit, grapes, limes
2020-2024: Grapefruit, Soft citrus, Oranges

The UK’s annual Dirty Dozen report is in.
Curated by PAN UK (Pesticide Action Network UK)

I’ve uploaded the file for you to browse. 
Some highlights:

All Fruit & veg:
29% of the pesticides detected are not approved for use by British farmers, 
62 highly hazardous pesticides found,
12 PFAS (forever chemicals) detected, 
41 carcinogens, 
2 neurotoxins

In bread, 12 different pesticide active substances were found.
They included four Highly Hazardous Pesticides (HHPs) and 3 other pesticides with potential links to cancer.
 
Chlormequat was found in 97% of bread samples. There are concerns regarding its impact on human health, particularly its potential to cause birth defects as a result of prenatal ingestion.

Glyphosate was present in 28% of the bread tested.

There many other problems with fruit and vegetables other than the Ag Tech used to grow them, but here’s just 1 you should keep in mind:

Only eat local, seasonal plants. 
Plants capture the solar signal.
Our cells also have solar antennas.
= when you eat a food tuned to a different solar signal to your environment, you get a mismatch.

In the UK this means one simple rule: only eat fruit in summer, and vegetables from spring to autumn. (and watch out for pesticides)
