Retired at 56, purchased a solid used Class-A RV, renovating/updating said RV, then exploring North and Central America and it's cultures every day I can.  

In 2022, we traveled over 11,000 miles, visited more then 23 of the 50 states here in America including 4 National and 3 State Parks.    

In 2023 we explored New Brunswick, PEI, Nova Scotia and Cape Brenton Canada, along with a few trips up and down the East Coast. 

Creating a Social Media Presence is on out list for 2024 in order to share our adventures as we go forward in our explorations.  

Set goals, and then take action when you hit those goals.  Let go of material anchors that are holding you to unsatisfying, soul sucking careers.   Better to make 25k a year doing something you absolutely love, then 250k a year hating every second of the day.

During my professional sabbatical, Rob worked as a Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Automotive Service Technician at David Auto Group.  This sabbatical period provided my family and I time to focus on an elder-care situation which required a daily hand-off's between my wife and I.

Being a Snap-on Tool's Franchise for the past 7 years was a full-on education, and a life experience that I am grateful to have explored.     

In the end, I have taken away a much deeper understanding of how critical personal interactions play in the long term success of businesses.   You can have the best product, the best support team, the best implementation strategies.  However, without trust between the two entities, without the human connection, without positive personal interaction between the two entities, it will fail to benefit either of them.  

That is the power of people in your organizations.  As I learned and was reinforced each and everyday I went out in my truck, my customers didn't buy from the company on the side of my truck.  They bought from me, the person standing in front of them.
