If you had to weigh what's greater: My love for watching Podcasts or my zeal to work hard, you would probably end in a deadlock. But it just goes with the theme of me, who tries my best to manage her studies, internships, clubs, and competitions to partying, long drives, Reading books, and Binge Watching.

-A student -selected as top 2 to represent the entire Symbiosis University at FICCI 2022.
-Public Speaker-who has been on stage throughout her life- 100+Model United Nations and Open Forums, Invited by Delhi University,SRCC, Punjab University, etc. to judge various competitions.

There were the questions that were asked by the students in the workshop I was invited to at Invertis University ,Bareilly to give.

and I told this story that 3 years ago, I nearly quit LinkedIn for good.

I spent hours polishing my “perfect” profile. Sent out dozens of applications. Waited for calls that never came.  
One day, after my tenth rejection, I asked myself if I was invisible or just forgettable?

That question changed everything.

Instead of chasing every job posting, I started sharing stories about my small wins, lessons from failed interviews, and real moments from day-to-day life as a professional navigating uncertainty.  

Slowly, people responded. Recruiters messaged not just about roles, but about shared experiences. Creators invited me to speak. 

Even students from last week’s Bareilly workshop said my posts helped them see LinkedIn in a new light.

📌Here’s the truth I learned:  

Your profile is important, sure.  
But your story is your voice makes you unforgettable!

In 2025, LinkedIn isn’t just where you look for work.It’s where you get discovered, guided, and sometimes challenged by opportunities you hadn’t imagined.  

Whether you’re new in your field or pitching to MNCs, start sharing what you’re learning now, not when “it’s perfect.”

Because sometimes, one honest story does what 100th applications never will.
