I’ve seen this repeatedly in work and in life:

The moment you carry yourself with respect, people adjust how they speak to you, how they listen to you, and how they work with you.

It’s not magic, it’s alignment.

Your self-belief sets the standard for the room.

You don’t need to demand respect. You need to demonstrate it.

In your decisions, in your boundaries, in how you value your own contribution.

When you do, people follow your lead without you having to push.

People see us today, the global presence, the scale, the brand, but the version of Damson that really built all this?

It lived in silence.

And that’s the beauty of building, the noise comes later, the proof comes later, the recognition comes later.

One of the greatest joys in life is seeing your sons step into their own character and identity.

There comes a point when you stop seeing them as children and start seeing the men they’re quietly growing into through their choices, their mindset, and the way they carry themselves in the world.

With Tanishq and Ranbir Goenka, that shift has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.

What makes me proud isn’t the milestones or accomplishments,

But the values I see in them every day, 

The kindness in their actions, the clarity in their thinking, and the sense of responsibility they don’t have to be reminded of.

They’re growing into men who respect others, who stay grounded, who think before they act,
and who hold onto the principles that truly matter.

And for a father, there is nothing more powerful than realising your sons are becoming men you deeply respect, not because they’re perfect, but because they’re genuine.

This International Men’s Day, I dedicate the day to them, to the strength they carry, the heart they show, and the character they continue to build with grace.

Seeing them grow into themselves has been one of life’s greatest privileges.

Calm isn’t something you demand from people.

It’s something you create around them.

communicate instead of confuse, and set expectations that are realistic, not reaction-driven.

Most professionals don’t struggle because they can’t handle pressure.

They struggle because they’re forced to handle unnecessary pressure.

The real test of leadership is simple: Are you reducing chaos, or adding to it?
