From 2012 to 2017, led the consumer product team and parts of the B2B product team at TripAdvisor. This included scaling the product team from 7 initial reports to over 70 people, leading two major business model transitions (Hotel Meta and Hotel Instant Booking), playing a key role in 3 acquisitions (La Fourchette, Viator, and CityMaps) and 2 investments (EatWith and Traxo), and helping to diversify TripAdvisor's revenue into attractions and restaurant booking and by launching TripAdvisor's premium listings for restaurants.

During my tenure at TripAdvisor, led B2C product teams for Revenue Optimization & Growth, Hotel Meta, Hotel Instant Booking, Mobile, Site Experience, Restaurants, Attractions, Search & Discovery, Trip Planning, Review/UGC Contribution, Maps, International Market Development, and Localization. In addition, I led B2B product teams including the Hotel Business Listings team during a major reorganization and the TripAdvisor Premium Listings for Restaurants team during its conceptualization and launch.

I played a major role in scaling the TripAdvisor product org by hiring over 50 people, including over 40 product managers and key people in analytics, market development, and localization. This includes hiring 2 of the most senior product leaders in the product org and growing those leaders from Director to VP.

I've spent my career building and scaling great consumer technology products and teams. Prior to founding Outpace, I was an Executive-in-Residence at Reforge where I helped create the Product Leadership program and helped launch the Product Strategy program.

If you look at the way most traditional product teams prioritize their roadmap they start by prioritizing specific customer problems that need to be addressed. Once those problems are on the roadmap they then get into designing a potential solution to those problems and then build and launch it.
