I created Small Business Bodyguard, a comprehensive, laugh-out-loud legal resource, complete with contract templates, cheat sheets and more for entrepreneurs who have real legal needs but don't have an attorney. As the CEO, I set the strategy for company growth including managing and obtaining financing, hiring and HR policies and setting product development and business development strategy.

Research, analyze and summarize motions before the judge. Analyze, summarize and schedule orders to show cause. Attend hearings and trials before the judge. Mediate special civil and small claims cases with an approximate 80% success rate. Serve as the liaison between the judge, pro se litigants and attorneys. Confer with the judge to discuss substantive and procedural issues relevant to pending cases.

Assisted the Center Director in facilitating the Center for Sentencing & Corrections. Conducted and compiled research on sentencing and corrections practices and policies in New Mexico, Delaware & Vermont. Organized research into fact sheets to be posted on the Center’s database. Updated the Center’s website.

Served as the liaison between the staff and the Executive Director of the homeless shelter and drug rehabilitation center. Researched and prepared fact sheets on homelessness in New York City for presentation to the Board of Trustees and potential major donors.  Handled various Human Resources and Fundraising responsibilities. Coordinated special events.

Served as Assistant to Senator Clinton's Deputy Chief of Staff, Legislative Director and Legal Counsel. Conducted research on the economy of Upstate New York and teen pregnancy in New York.  Accompanied Senator Clinton and staff to meetings and events. Delivered legislation to the Senate floor. Handled correspondence between the Senator's staff and constituents.
