Nutrition & Health Coach 

Age 36 & after focusing on career-building, I'd gotten in a bad state physically & mentally!😣

Obese (118 kg), No Exercise, Crap Diet, Long Hours, Excuse of ‘Busy’, Alcohol & Drugs masking it all! 
I didn't care if I died during a binge! It got dangerous

Thankfully, I planned an escape. I sold everything I owned, left my career, packed a tiny backpack and went off to travel the world.🙏🏻

In New Zealand, I wanted to do a tandem skydive, but I was too heavy! 😢

Enough was enough. I went on a mission to lose weight (thanks Mountains!😉) 
I got under the weight limit and took that dive (it was amazing!)

I finished my year in Fiji, where I connected with an incredible culture, staying for 6 months, working on projects & exploring. 

I returned home an unrecognisably different man!🙌🏻

Since then I became a father, built a new career & hired a Coach. 
My mindset switch became positive and I began on a my Health & Fitness Journey.

Quick Tip from me on getting the most from your Rower & Ski… 💪🏻
The fan setting on a Rower or Skierg is not a ‘difficulty’ setting or a ‘gear’.👀

Simply choosing a higher setting, does not mean you’ll cover the target distance faster👀

Instead, choose a setting that helps you keep the flywheel spinning throughout your stroke💡

If you lose power before you hit your target distance, adjust the setting down a little next time. Experiment, optimise and smash your time 💥

❓Do you Row or Ski at the gym? 👀

Just as millions of people 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝗽 on their lofty 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 or 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀, here are mine… out in public & fully committed to! 👀

I spend quite a lot of time working on and thinking about these, not just for ‘New Year’ but constantly evaluating, auditing and adjusting as I go (life throws up speed-bumps all the time right!)

I’m sharing these because it gives me that internal Motivation and a psychological edge of Accountability.
A Goal Shared openly is more likely to be achieved…💡

Now, these are 𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴, but I don’t see the point of making anything super-easy to attain a Goal, you’re just massaging your own ego and won’t get a true sense of accomplishment 🤷🏻‍♂️

Some of these I’ve made actual headway on already. Wheels in motion. Plans in place. Steps & Actions taken…

New Year 2026 Goals

“𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀... 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆?” 👀
Every January it’s the same story for Dads:
  • “New year, new me”...
  • Big promises
  • Big plans
  • Then life, work, kids… and it quietly slips away by February 😅


Here’s the truth most Dads don’t want to hear:
  • It’s not lack of willpower
  • It’s not being “bad at routines”
  • It’s trying to change 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 at once


Most Dads I work with don’t actually want:
  • Six-pack abs
  • Extreme diets
  • Living in the gym


They want:
  • More energy after work ⚡
  • Better health (now and long term)
  • Strength and fitness that fits real life
  • To be more present, patient, and involved with their kids ❤️


I’m not a fan of dramatic New Year resolutions.
If something needs fixing, waiting for January won’t magically make it easier.
The Dads who do succeed tend to:
  • Focus on a few key habits
  • Build consistency, not perfection
  • Stop chasing “fat loss hacks”
  • Play the long game

Dads New Year Resolutions

It’s Foodie Post time… I’ve enjoyed the start to the new year food-wise. Lots of fresh, home cooked hot meals… Some stews, mash, ragu’s in the mix with plenty of veggies.
Variety being a key part of what we do at home. Throw in a few meals-out where we can try some different foods, and it’s been an enjoyable couple of weeks.

Working on my current health and body composition goals, I’ve been careful with total calories and balance (without tracking) and everything is on target 👌🏻
