Vision Therapy is a highly effective non- surgical treatment for treating individuals with eye problems such as crossed eyed, double visuon and lazy eyes etc.

Vision there also helps reduce ml eye strain and other computer vision syndromes. Ultimately the goal is to increase vision, cure, improve problems and help with behavior problems. Also it helps the patients with their overall quality of health and living.

Passed out literature and talked to guests about eyewear, vision exams and screenings available at participating booth and brick and mortar location. Caused lucrative sales in eyewear and exams.. Inspired many vision screenings on site that informed guests of current eye acuity, eye disease and treatment.

Provided visual testing for church members and college students on Chicago South side where eye test sites were not present. Informed individuals if they needed further testing and where to go if they needed eyeglasses or further testing on the spot.

Called patients and informed if their glasses and other merchandise were at store to be picked up. Also informed patients of any ongoing promotion. Took segment heights and PD measurements. Measured, ordered, tinted and sold lenses. Dispensed, measured, ordered, repaired, selected and sold eyeglass frames. Managed all inventory inbound and outbound.
Successfully completed six-month externship required for graduation.

Assisted Prodessor in Opthalmic instruction. Taught eighteen Optical students Lab. Showed student how to correctly us a keratometer, lensometer and tonometer. Perfectly showed students how to insert and remove contact lenses on others and themselves. Showed how to cut, measure, order, tint and select different types of lenses. Perfectly demonstrated how to dispense, order, repair and select frames. Graded papers, took attendance visited students if necessary. Provided knowledge, encouragement and resources to assist the students up until graduation..

100 high school students including myself collaborated with the late famous pop artist Keith Haring in creating a temporary outside Untitled mural. After completion of the 488 foot mural, it was divided in many pieces some were donated to local high schools and displayed in the hallways and some of the mural was displayed at Chicago's Midway Airport. We used exterior acrylic paint to paint inside characters that Keith pre - painted. It was a successful one day event, I am proud and honored to have been a part of.

I learned all the aspects of painting a mural. Collaborated an outside public mural with other local artists located on the corner 75th and Crandon Streets. Painted images on wall to beautify community's eyesore. Used exterior acrylic paint to create realistic beautiful images on corner wall. Responsible for writing via hand names on walls of all participants and sponsors of project.Assisted with creation of mural " Bosom of Oshun "

Work closely with a meticulously skilled Optometrist who diagnose and treats her patients. Certain patients are referred to her by Driving Instructors,  Medical Doctors, Ophthalmologists, Teachers etc. Provide assessments, activities, strategies, tests and therapy for the patients. My patients age ranges usually from four to fourteen but sometimes adults also.

 Assist to improve certain vision problems, improves behaviour, life and visual skills. Vision health is a vital component of mind health..Continued to work even more passionately and relentlessly since the 2019 global pandemic. Daily serve youth and elderly who are in the midst of harm and hazards. Always providing an empatheric, professional, passionate and memorable visit to all of her patients. Honored to have an integral role in helping develop the  health,minds and vision of many youth 
and adults.
 
Vision Therapy is a highly effective non- surgical treatment for common visual problems such as strabismus (cross eyes), diploplia (double vision) and  amblyopia (lazy eyes). The therapy can help patients with reading, learning disabilities, behavior issues and even improve convergence insufficiency.

I has received training as a Technician. Now she can use the Auto Refractor which gives a general reading of one's eyeglass and contact lens prescription.  Also, able to use the Tonometer which measures the IOP intraocular pressure of the eye and determine if a patient has glaucoma.

Tricia has vowed her life to the service of others especially seniors and youth.
