Responsibilities:
• Establish SEO best practices and setup projects for automated reporting and analysis 
• Setup automated alerts for tech SEO errors using ContentKing tool
• Keyword research based on the SERP intent analysis, and mapping right keywords with relevant webpages. For example – target informative keywords on blog pages, while transactional keywords on landing pages
• Going in-depth to solve page speed issues evaluating the field data from Google page speed report, reducing the external JS, lazyloading third party scripts, support chatbox, etc.
• Setup Google data studio dashboards for easy access to key KPIs – organic traffic from specific countries, devices, or page level data
• Scale the link building team from 5 to 35 people team and increase the number of referring domains from 4,000 to 19,000 in a span of 15 months
o This included a ton of documentation over Notion with loom recordings helping us to scale our link building efforts as to compete with other SaaS players in the online video editing space
o Made sure we disavowed a set of toxic domains month over month
o Made sure that the team is efficient with up-to-date outreach tools and techniques
o We kept on iterating our email copies and our source of inspiration were Ahrefs, Bibi Raven and a couple more

Achievements:
• Increased landing page traffic from 70,000 to 175,000 in a span of 18 months
o Updated landing page design which improved our signup conversions from 12% to 30% while it was 39% for G4 countries
• Published 250+ blogs with an in-house content team, and scaled blog traffic to 550,000 in a span of 15 months
o This included a wholesome of top of the funnel content diversified into HowTo posts, Listicles, definitive guides
o Strategic internal linking helped us to scale blog traffic, and improvise the funnel of signup conversions
• Recovered from April 2021 product review update

Ahrefs Evolve 2025 in San Diego was even better than the first edition in Singapore and honestly, exactly what senior-level SEOs needed right now, especially in the current echo chamber of AI-enabled SEO

The talks were insightful, structured, and full of ideas I can take straight back to my own SEO work

It was also great catching up with old friends in person and meeting more than a dozen new, interesting folks from across the industry

The stage setup, the massive display, and the seating arrangement, everything was designed so well that everyone could catch every detail, no matter where they sat. And the sit-down lunch networking was such a thoughtful touch that made real conversations happen

Huge credits to Shermin Lim and Elysa Victoria Han for pulling it all together so flawlessly, under the vision and leadership of Tim Soulo, of course 🙌

I got to see a completely different side of the brilliant Kevin Indig, behind the decks, DJing with absolute style!
