I just watched Raj Shamani and Sandeep Das's podcast. Here are my three takeaways: 

👉 How you look, smile, and what gadgets and clothes you wear matter if you wish to grow influence and sell more (high ticket sales) and better.
👉 How you appear to a client should match her value system. In Chennai, be the simple, humble lady. In Delhi, be the loud, branded, self-bragging, and extremely Gori-Chitti woman.
👉 Social influence helps you find opportunities that talent and hard work alone cannot. 

Matter of fact is subconscious plays an important role in decision-making. 

Believing that only logic matters, and emotions don't impact our lives is like expecting one bottle of alcohol daily to fix one's health and wellbeing.

When I listened to Indra Nooyi speak about being a lifelong student, it reminded me about how important personal growth is. 

As we move through different stages of work, relationships, parenting, and personal growth, the problems we face are not the same ones we faced earlier. And naturally, the answers can’t stay the same either.

What we learned years ago may still be useful, but it may not be complete. That’s where I feel we need to be careful.

Holding on tightly to past learnings can give us confidence. But when we treat our earlier experiences as absolute truth, we leave little room to listen, adapt, or try something new.

Being a lifelong learner means carrying what we already know lightly. It means being willing to ask, “Does this still fit my life and my needs today?” 

It means allowing ourselves to learn new skills, reread old books to think better and become wise, and sometimes even change our values.

If there’s one thing we need to instill among all children, is the core value of learning throughout one’s life.

Lastly, learning new things does improve emotional health, as has been my own experience.

Point Guard

I sensed a part of my consciousness, the element of life encompassing mind and body, twice last year. It happened without the intent or the goal of sensing or searching for the soul. 

How I happened to attain the experience was preceded by years of emotional pain, finding and creating closure, finding agency and energy, and constant efforts of learning about the human mind, the brain, and our auspicious Hindu scriptures. My mother's spiritual efforts played an important part in my healing, as I could feel the pull of the spiritual hand. 

These things are hard to believe unless they are experienced by oneself. But once you do, you know that the spirit and the soul are the only eternal truth. It is the form of energy that exists forever. 

Why am I writing this note? To share my deepest and my most personal experience in hopes that you will find your way to this eternal truth one day by staying physically healthy and emotionally healthy, and allowing your soul to expand into its rightful space.
