MetaMap is a scale-up providing identity verification services.

• Co-created, hired and led a team of 12 engineers, including 7 ML engineers in Paris.
• Worked hand in hand with a human in the loop team of 300+ agents in Mexico and India.
• Built a machine learning stack used in production, with human quality control and monitoring.

Owkin

Owkin is a French-American startup that uses artificial intelligence to find the right treatment for every patient.

• Led research collaborations with academic and pharmaceutical partners, focusing on applying machine learning to medical images for prediction of prognosis.
• Worked hand in hand with the product team to build a platform used by medical researchers.
• Conducted multiple research projects including an internal research project on histology self-supervised learning: "Self-Supervision Closes the Gap Between Weak and Strong Supervision in Histology"

• Created a tutorial and code explaining the best practice when working on a deep learning project using TensorFlow: https://cs230-stanford.github.io

• Advised by Sharad Goel in MS&E for a project on gas leak detection
• Developed a method for predicting gas leak locations based on a map of methane measurements

Research Assistant in data science

Context (acquired by IAS)

• Built a framework on top of TensorFlow for our team.
• Created and trained deep CNNs for face detection and recognition on a huge database of celebrities (~20M faces).
• Clever implementation of triplet loss in TensorFlow to improve computation time (x5).
