Nvidia CEO yelling “jobs, jobs, jobs” is true.

It’s just not the question people are asking.

If you define “AI job creation” as:

👷‍♂️ building data centers
buying chips
👷‍♂️hiring electricians and plumbers for the data centers

…then yeah, it creates jobs.

AI makes jobs the way a highway project makes jobs.

But we're worried there won’t be any jobs.

we're worried our job gets cut, our pay gets squeezed, or we get pushed into worse work.

Here’s the part these billionaires keep skipping:

If AI boosts productivity, companies can hit the same output with fewer people.

That’s simple math.

The only real question is: "who gets the upside?"

If it’s shared, we get shorter weeks, better pay, cheaper services.

If it isn’t, “AI creates jobs” becomes a slogan that politely ignores layoffs.


So yeah, clap for the construction phase.

But what happens after the ribbon-cutting is the whole story.

1- ROI is fuzzy

"Is this saving money or making money?” If you can’t answer fast...

2-Risk and governance are behind

Security, data, hallucinations, bias. 
AI is moving faster than controls. 

3-People problems
 
Skills gaps, fear, job anxiety. 
Tools don’t fix trust. 

4-Tech debt and silos

Old systems + messy data = slow rollouts and weak results. 

5-Regulatory chaos

Different rules in different places, and they keep changing.
