Yesterday’s session at B2B Marketing Live highlighted something many leaders quietly struggle with, they want transformation, but they don’t have a structured path for how to move from intention to impact.

The “Decisive Next Steps” slide broke this down with surprising clarity. 

It reminded me that growth isn’t about big leaps; it’s about disciplined sequencing.

First comes readiness, assessing where your organisation actually stands, not where the strategy presentation says it is.

Then, selecting a champion, someone who understands both the internal dynamics and the external demands of the market.

Next is a comprehensive assessment, exploring skill gaps, culture, workload capacity, and decision flow.

Only after these foundations are set does it make sense to launch a pilot, controlled enough to learn but structured enough to scale.

What stood out for me is how this mirrors the work I do with teams: sustainable progress requires rhythm, not rush.
