For most of 2023 I worked as an event planner at SEI, supporting the Events & Experience team as they executed events across the enterprise. I spent 4 months providing marketing support for Sphere, the cybersecurity business unit.

Marketing Events Manager

Senior Manager for enterprise-wide exhibit program with over 150 events per year, delivering quality programs with an average budget of $100k. Organized planning committees and onsite teams, collaborating with marketing and sales on show goals. Detailed understanding of show services, transportation, billing, event marketing and client entertainment. 

•	Led participation in industry conferences, focusing on sponsorships promoting thought leadership and speaking opportunities. Worked with senior management to establish strategy and goals. 
•	Launched cross-functional team to develop vision for new brand for exhibit properties and signage enterprise-wide, increasing brand consistency and awareness of the company at events. 
•	Saved over $240k over 3 years by standardizing branding to build engagement at events. 
•	Initiated RFP process with procurement and legal for a new exhibit house. Led the development of the statement of work, service level agreements and bundle pricing which saved over $15k in tariffs alone in a one-year period.
•	Implemented online exhibit ordering system allowing for 24/7 ordering, eliminating paper and telephone orders.
•	Identified strategic partners for program sponsorships, deepened engagement with sponsors by standardizing sponsor packages across events and raised $1.3M in a one-year period.  
•	Designed and produced specialized shipping containers, reducing breakage and loss by 25%.
•	Increased sales by expanding trade show presence to include client entertainment and private meeting opportunities.
•	Proactively learned digital tools like Zoom and WebEx to support pivot to virtual meetings. Built virtual tradeshow booths using Intrado Platform and worked as a virtual meeting producer using ON24 and CVENT.
•	Researched and delivered options for sponsorships in virtual and hybrid event scenarios.
•	Increased sales by expanding trade show presence to include client entertainment and private meeting opportunities with clients and prospects.

Senior Planner, Exhibits and Tradeshows

Developed promotional marketing materials, updated and maintained existing inventories to support key sales efforts for the launch of new and support of existing life insurance products. 
•	Managed compliance and firm filing process for all Life products.

Marketing Manager, Life Insurance

Supported enterprise and sales needs by scheduling, planning and executing more than 200 meetings, events and trade shows.
•	Developed processes and checklists to successfully manage all meetings and conferences as assigned from budgeting to execution to post event analysis.
•	Worked with partner firms to increase participation and sponsorship in the LFD National Sales Meeting, increasing sponsorship to from $500,000 to $.5 million. Created custom packages and offers.
